I expected that learning French would be very difficult. And yes, it is challenging. However, this book has me well on the way to learning it. And, this book makes a lot less overwhelming than than I previously thought. A big reason for that is using stories to help you learn. At least for me, I think because it is not the typical dry, academic approach, I find it easier to pick up. Each story comes with English translations and vocabulary lists you can use as a reference. The conversations sound natural and are easy to practice for everyday life (well, at least so far). I this book is a great way to learn French. I highly recommend it.

This book is great, it reads the story in French then has questions and exercises afterwards. It actually really helped my comprehension and understanding of French. Definitely don’t listen to it at 1.5 speed and you’ll need all the time to understand the story! I’ll be listening to this again and again
