About this listen
What is it like to be an Enneagram Five?
Instagram poet and artist Morgan Harper Nichols reflects on this question in a spirit of honest self-assessment and with a desire for personal and spiritual growth. She draws wisdom from the deep wells of counseling and spirituality using examples from both Scripture and life. Each of these 40 readings concludes with an opportunity for further engagement such as a prayer, a spiritual practice, or a reflection question.
Any of us can find aspects of ourselves in any of the numbers. The Enneagram is a profound tool for empathy, so whether or not you are a Five, you will grow from learning about Fives and enhance your relationships across the Enneagram spectrum.

Story
Many times Fours are labeled "emotionally intense" or "too much", but for a Four, this is just how life is. This is why Fours are ideal companions in the midst difficult times: the death of a loved one, the birth of a baby, transitional seasons in career, relational conflict, and so on. The Enneagram is a profound tool for empathy, so whether or not you are a Four, you will grow from learning about Fours and enhance your relationships across the Enneagram spectrum.

When we learn to manage these centers, each for its intended purpose, we open a path to reducing fear, improving relationships, growing spiritually, and finding wholeness. Drawing on the dynamic stability of the Enneagram, she explains each number's preferred and repressed Center of Intelligence and its role in helping us move toward internal balance.

Story
In the first half of life, we are naturally preoccupied with establishing ourselves; climbing, achieving, and performing. But as we grow older and encounter challenges and mistakes, we need to see ourselves in a different and more life-giving way. This message of falling down - that is in fact moving upward - is the most resisted and counterintuitive of messages in the world's religions. Falling Upward offers a new paradigm for understanding one of the most profound of life's mysteries: how those who have fallen down are the only ones who understand "up".

Beautiful content, distracting robot-like narration
So far, the content is deep and in the mark. However I will probably have to get a hard copy of this before I finish. The narration is wooden. Why ruin a good resource? I don’t get it.
