Publisher's summary

Billionaire Dominic Baine stepped into Avery Ross' life when it was at its lowest. Obsessed with the beautiful, struggling artist, Nick was determined to have her. What began as a scorching seduction soon burned out of control, exploding into a white-hot passion neither of them could deny.

Yet Nick and Avery are two damaged people, both haunted by dark secrets with the power to destroy them. And for Nick, the ugly past that shaped him cannot compare to the unforgivable deception that drives Avery from his arms, from his life. Now the man accustomed to having everything he desires must find a way to redeem himself to the only woman he has ever loved.

Avery Ross has known heartbreak. She has known betrayal and loss but nothing like the pain that loving Dominic Baine has brought into her life. Reeling from the aftermath of his devastating revelation, instead of allowing despair to break her, she builds herself into something stronger - the fearless woman and gifted artist that Nick's passion has taught her to be. Yet her heart is in pieces, and despite everything she has, the one thing she needs is the man whose possessive desires and consuming love hold the power to either save them both or shatter her forever....

Contains mature themes.

An amazing,explicit love story

Book 3 was just as mind blowing as 1 & 2 but the male narrator’s voice in book 3 took all the passion out of the characters & it was irritating to listen.

Story was wonderful. Make voice not so much

The male voice in this was very hard to listen to especially when he would do Avery’s voice. The image from the previous books of Nick is strong and seductive, however this male voice made him sound old and corny. Very hard to listen to him but nonetheless loved the story line.

Terrible male narrator

This is the first review I’ve ever left for any audiobook. I just finished listening to this series of three books. Overall, it was OK, however, it got very repetitive with the sex scenes. The insecurity of the character drove me crazy, on one hand, they were described as strong independent people, then acted childish and insecure.

The third audiobook was the hardest to listen to. Each time the male narrator did the female voice, I cringed. Every chapter he narrated, I had to speed up to get through it. I only listened to the end of the book because I wanted to know how it ended. I don’t know why they didn’t use the female narrator for the female part.

Brining in a male narrator for last book ruined it

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Keeping the same narrator for all 3 books!!

Would you recommend For 100 Reasons to your friends? Why or why not?

I just cannot due to the change of adding a male narrator. For me it was as though I was listening to 2 different books. The male narrator's female voice was just too different for me to enjoy this book.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Just way too different from the original narrator!!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from For 100 Reasons?

None!

Any additional comments?

I'm seriously thinking of returning the audio, and should they ever release it again with the original narrator I would buy it.

Narration by the Munchkins!

I listened to the first two books in the series. Why in the world did they use this narration for this one??

Poor choice of additional narrator

Why oh why would you end the series with the male voice in the last book. It was a terrible selection of narrator for the part of Nick. The way the narrator reads the female parts is soooo awful! Voice not sexy at all. I had to push through. Thank goodness the female narrator was consistent! She did an excellent job! First two audiobooks were awesome, but the last one was a swing and a huge miss. 😔

The full 100 series is wonderful

I’ve listened to all 100 series and it takes you through so many emotions. Laugh, cry, heart hurts, joy….. you will feel it all during this series. So many twists and turns. The author did a great job and the narrators were wonderful. Enjoy!

THEIR ROAD HAS BEEN PERILOUS AND PAINFUL

..... but their destination was definitely worth all the heartache.

Well I could list 100 reasons why I loved this trilogy.. or 100 reasons why I love Lara Adrian’s books.. but I’ll save time and just say this was a gripping and compelling conclusion to Dominic and Avery’s whirlwind journey. And, in this third part of the trilogy, it’s a year after their heartbreaking breakup and Dominic feels he’s given Avery enough time to heal after the blow that tore them apart. Their attraction to each other and physical pull towards one another has never been in doubt.. nor the love that shines through.. but will it be enough to mend a broken heart? And will it be enough to bring those final walls of Dominic’s down to reveal the last of his shocking secrets?

Every bit as enjoyable as books 1 and 2 and this has been a bitter-sweet journey of revelations and character growth as both the damaged hero and heroine had their fair share of secrets stopping them from ever getting their HEA. But thankfully in the end love conquered, love overcame and love prevailed. It had sex and romance, ups and downs, heartache and sorrow, passion and pain, ugly memories and ghosts of the past to confront. And Dominic and Avery went through it all side-by-side to finally conquer the demons and doubts that shackled them to the past.. to get peace.. to get closure.. and to get to fully live and to fully love each other. It was great to hear Dominic’s POV as well as Avery’s this time round.

Worth a credit? Absolutely.. no more secrets, no more lies, no more shattered dreams and definitely no more broken promises.. and what didn’t destroy them ultimately made them stronger.

The male narrator needs work.

The male narrator needs to work on his female character voice but other than that the book was good.

The End??

I didn't feel like this complete story was necessary. This entire story (I felt) could have been summed up in I'm a couple of chapters on the previous book. I felt like I was reading the end of the series in every chapter. Summer Morton was great and completely appropriate for both characters. I wish that she would have narrated the entire book alone. I cannot stand Alexander Cendese's female voice. IT'S AWFUL! His male voice is okay but it doesn't give me the impression of a refined billionaire. I hear wanna be biker, greaser type character. Moving on Laura Adrian writes a good story. I just wish that this one was about someone else. Like her friend who's the artist that's in love with the jerk ex rock star.
