About this listen

I was burning alive and didn't even know it.

Until they rescued me....

My days are spent in the Burn Unit at the hospital I work as a nurse at, supporting those who have kissed the red hot flames that consumed their world and survived to tell the tale. Until the tables are turned and I am now the one in the hospital bed after being rescued by three firefighters.

Their silhouettes appeared in the darkest moment of my life, pulling me out of the shadows I had been living in. Now when I have nothing and no one, they insist I can lean on them.

I want to, I really want to, but how can I when the same person who burnt my house to the ground is running around the city leaving smoldering tributes in my name?

They want me. I want them. But he wants to consume me, just like his fires. Maybe I should let him so that I can protect them.

Then again, a firefly only knows to burn brighter the darker it gets.

This is a contemporary reverse harem stand-alone with lots of fire, some laughs, and a whole lot of heat. Contains strong language.

This is my first book by this author and it was great! The story line flowed so well and kept me intrigued. I wanted to keep listening to see what would happen next. It had a great sense of family, a strong heroine, firefighters and alot of suspense. The narration really brought the characters to life. It was highly enjoyable, highly recommend!!

The story itself wasn’t bad, but the language itself wasn’t good. But the narration from all voices was so absurd & so terrible it actually made it worse. With better execution the story had promise but honestly read it for yourself… the narration Will absolutely wreck it.

The monotone narration ruined it

Story is decent. Narration is barely mediocre. Each sentence is spoken like it was recorded on different days then edited together. Stiffly spoken with little emotion. Only 25% into the book and losing interest.

Monotoned and Stiff Narration

This story is a whychoose, firefighter, brothers friends romance. I really enjoyed this story, I was wanting to know who was the firestarter stalker, it had me captivated, needing answers. The plot was good. The narrators Macie and Marcus really brought this story to life, it took me a minute to distinguish the different voices Marcus did for the different men, but he did a great job!

The Bookish Girl Reviews

Fire Fly is a thrilling story about Sophia who is an RN that works on a burn unit in a hospital. She comes from a family of firefighters so this would only come natural to her - taking care of those with burns. But, on one evening, Sophia experiences a tragedy of her own. While she is sleeping, her home catches on fire.

She is rescued by Darren, Porter, and Alden but not without becoming a victim to the flames, herself. Darren rushes her out of the house, performs CPR, and immediately becomes infatuated with Sophia.

While in the hospital, she has a conversation with her brother who wants her to come and stay with him and his wife so that they can care for her. Sophia refuses because she doesn't want to be a burden on them because they also have a new baby. So, her brother comes up with an idea and makes arrangements for her to go stay at the fire station where Darren, Porter, and Alden work.

The three guys take care of her and help her down the long road of recovery. But while she is in their care, someone is starting fires in her name. Someone has become obsessed with Sophia.

Although I was praying that Sophia ended up with Darren, this is a why-choose. Sophia forms a relationship with all three guys. And all three guys are on board with sharing her.

There is some spiciness to this book, but not so much that you think you're reading porn. I enjoyed it, the story is well thought out, it kept me guessing on who the firebug was, and I was surprised at the end when he was revealed.

Love on Fire!!!

Could not get into the story because of the terrible narrators. Probably a good story, but bad narrators turn me off

Boring Narrators

The monotone narration was just to hard to get involved. The book is really good but my suggestion is read it don’t listen. It will ruin it. I couldn’t finish.

Narration made it so hard.
