Plum Parrot
Stranded on a hostile planet, one man finds himself thrust into a fight for survival that could decide the fate of an entire world . . .
As an engineer on the arkship Pilgrim-9, bound for the Tau Ceti solar system, Morgan Hall thought his life would revolve around maintaining and repairing the ship and supporting the needs of the five thousand colonists aboard. But when he’s roused early from a 240-year stasis, he’s confronted with chaos.
Along with his shipmates, Morgan is brought down to a planet teeming with peril. Forced to fight for their survival without any of their tech to hand, they must adapt quickly to overcome countless threats in a world where magic is as real as science. Eventually, they begin to create a new existence for themselves.
But just as they’re beginning to feel at home, Morgan and his fellow humans discover the planet is already inhabited by intelligent life-forms—and this native species is cunning, powerful, and all too lethal . . .

I don't know if the authors read these reviews but I hope they do.
I am enjoying Plum Parrot's "Victor of Tuscon" series, however, I almost returned the 1st book TWICE since the book had so much foul language almost every time the MC spoke. It initially "soured" my experience. However, after getting through 1/2 the book, it improved and I happily continued the series.
I preface this review with that, saying Falling with Folded Wings was an improvement for me (even though it was written the same time). Why??
1. Plum has created this series with multiple MCs. In having more than one character that can "level up", we get the chance to hear/investigate different areas of classes and abilities; something very few LitRPG authors has done (I have over 1000 books focused mostly on Sci-Fi and Fantasy). I always wondered what else a character could have chosen if it was a mage, or rogue/assassin and what other specialized classes would be available. This offers that opportunity to hear the options.
2. Rich / Detailed world building in the different races, environment, food, and items that the characters experience.
3. In having multiple main characters, this gives Plum the OPPORTUNITY to create more titles with these characters. It does not have to be 3-5 new books.. at the very least one side book that branches off without needing the support of the other main characters with newer experiences (both good AND bad).
4. Christian Gilliland is a very good narrator that covers both male and female voices. He is one of my favored narrators. And I look for books based on narrators as well.
Plum has become one of my favorite LitRPG authors and is on my Following List for new titles.
OUTSTANDING!!
