Publisher's summary

When Brielle was taken by the prince of darkness, a large part of me died inside. How can I move on? How can I accept that she's gone?

I can't.

After searching every possible way to bring her back, I finally accept that she may be gone...forever. If that's the case, then I can't stay in Angel City any longer.

Author's note: This is a follow-up 30,000-word novella to Fallen Academy: Year Three that is told from Lincoln's point of view and covers his one year without Brielle. Happy reading! =)

Real raw emotions are felt

My review may contain small spoilers although if you read book 3 in this series I won't spoil much. This book, wow! The emotions of Lincoln were so raw and real. I appreciate seeing Bri's disappearance from Lincoln's perspective as it rounded out the story. I sobbed during the scene that he is at his lowest point and his mentor shows up to provide comfort and hope. The end8ng of the book was a perfect way to build up for the last book of the series. I'm so glad I read this.

Great half story

I was hoping to hear more about Link and what he had been through. This was a great way to tell it. I'm so hooked on this story, I have to know what will happen next. On to year four.

Can't wait for year 4

I liked it. Even though they made Lincoln kinda weak in the story. I get the whole broken part but in my option it didn't go with the Lincoln character as described in the earlier books. Nevertheless it was a well written book. Can not wait for year 4.

So good!

Ok. Hearing Lincolns POV was fabulous, and this narrator was phenomenal! I absolutely loved this audio. Great Job!

Lincoln’s POV

Wowza!! The narrator is perfection. His voice is fantastic. I enjoyed listening to Lincoln’s POV and see what he went through while Brielle was gone. I highly recommend that you read the books in order. I found this book to be insightful and again that voice. Yum.

Lincoln's Story

I want alternative books told from Lincoln's perspective now! Is it too much to request more raw damaged Lincoln POV?

Unique view

I feel I wish I would have read this one before year 3. Yes, it would have gave some stuff away but in my opinion it would have flowed a bit more to see Lincoln side first.

Great read.

Omg

This series is a roller coaster of emotions. I haven’t cried so much in one series as I have with this one. The writing is amazing and makes you really feel empathy for these fictional characters. Can’t wait for the next book.

More depth in this installment

This book actually has more depth than the previous two I read from this series. Unfortunately, Year One had too many disconnects. It captured my interest enough to try Year Two, but it wasn’t enough to keep it. Because that was returned, I’m not going to keep this one. I will not buy Year Three or Year Four.
I think Ms Stone has a lot of talent and creativity and hope she gets whatever support will help her write better edited books, with tighter story lines. I hope to read more of her work in future as she matures.
I’ve never heard of Bailey before, but he does a really decent job of narrating this one. He has the right voice, it’s pleasant to listen to, and he really communicates the story and emotions well. It would only add to his skills if he can add more character differentiation.

Amazing Point of View from Lincoln

I seriously loved having Lincoln's perspective for this book. It really solidified his feelings towards Bri. I loved the insite to what he went through, and how he came out of it.
