Woohoo! Yes Audible, I DID Enjoy This Program

Way to go Sister Lynn! I thank God for blessing you with such a talent to bring our history to life. I look forward to listening to more and hope that Suzanne, the excellent narrator whose skill I'm also grateful for, also employed her voice to the task.

I earned my gold ring marathoner badge from listening to this series during every waking, and some sleeping moments that I could have afforded my ears.

This was a sober reminder of how easily it is to be deceived. Let us not twist truth to believe lies. Cling to God so that in our days of adversity, we can stand in His word. #ForYourGloryLord

King Manasseh

Loved it. Lynn makes the mundane interesting and brings it to life like no one else can. Love her writing style, but the narrator is absolutely awesome.

the enemy lies

I always wondered how Hezekai's son could be so evil. this book explains it very well. the characters are very real and consistent.

Amazing story!

I love how Austin uses biblical research to write a story to bring that time and place alive for us. The story was very real and made you feel all the emotions the characters went through.

A True Winner

Lynn Austin not only writes in a captivating manner, but her ability to weave an interesting story that is also historically sound makes this a fascinating and entertaining experience. Once again, Suzanne Token delivers an outstanding performance.

Great Historical Fiction of an Awful time in History

I knew this would be a hard read because I knew Manasseh was a terrible king in Judah. Lynn Austin got me hooked and I couldn't stop listening.

Good Stuff!

Lynn Austin did a GREAT JOB with the storyline that she had to follow. Every time I read one of the books from this series I wonder how she ever did it! Austin did take a few (nessary) creative libertys, but the overall storyline/facts are correct. The best part of this series is how it encouraged me to view the Old Testament as more than a bunch of random facts about ancient people. It really helped me picture what it might have been like, and reminded me that these old Bible characters had real emotions, and real strugglels. I know I'll never look at Old Testament stories in the same way.
