About this listen

One final game of cat and mouse...

Ex-FBI agent Elliot Mills thought he was done with the most brutal case of his career. The Sculptor, the serial killer he spent years hunting, is finally in jail. But Elliot's hope dies when he learns the murderer wasn't acting alone. Now everyone is at risk once again - thanks to a madman determined to finish his partner's gruesome mission.

When the lead agent on the case, Special Agent Tucker Lance, goes missing, Elliot knows it's the killer at work. After all, abducting the love of Elliot's life is the quickest way to hurt him.

The chances of finding Tucker are all but impossible without the help of the Sculptor - but the Sculptor is in no position to talk. Critically injured in a prison fight, he lies comatose and dying while the clock ticks down. Elliot has no choice but to play this killer's twisted game and hope he can find Tucker in time.

Both Fun, sexy and exciting!

Author Josh Lanyon, in traditional style, pulls off another wonderful and sexy romance between two men in conflict... the continuing story is welcomed...
The narration was very well done and was a great match for the story being told!

Not my favorite

Story was good but I could have done without the intimate parts. Provide no context to story.

They just keep getting better!

I'm hooked on Lanyon as well as Lance and Mills. I sure hope there are more in the pipeline and the addition of Sheba to the family is the icing on the cake!

Great ending to a great series

Truly enjoyed this series....only bad thing was that it was the conclusion! The narration was excellent and I loved seeing Ticket and Elliott's relationship continue to evolve.

Fair Chance

I love this book and series! Both the story and narrator are fantastic! I know this series is finished but I'd love if there were more books following Elliott's investigations!

Great Series

I really enjoyed this series, the story retained my interest throughout all 3 books (even though the narrator of the 1st book was dreadful), and the main characters were both very likeable.

Rivitting to the end

Cought me right from the beginning. Characters were very believable. The reader was very good and easily moved in and out of character very fluidly. Can't wait to get my next Josh Lanyon story. Dan

Great way to end the series

Fair Chance , the third and final entry in Josh Lanyon's superior All's Fair series, is the strongest of the trilogy. And given the fact that Tucker is missing for nearly 2/3 of the book, that really says something about Lanyon's ability to construct a rich story around these two men that's so packed with drama, humor, and action, that it's easy to forget that one of them is barely there.

Tucker and Elliot have settled down together, moving into a new home, and thinking about marriage. Tucker, on his way to see his parents, disappears, and soon Elliot discovers The Sculptor - the most deadly adversary Elliot has ever faced - is working with an accomplice to bring him down. Once he realizes Tucker is missing, he sets out on a one-man quest to track down the man he loves, and bring the person (or persons) who took him to justice.

Initially working with a cooperative FBI, Elliot eventually finds himself on the wrong end of an agent and the head of the investigation, losing all of his connections and resources. As the days go by, Elliot's quest to find Tucker becomes more desperate.

As if this weren't enough, Elliot is forced to deal with a sleazy columnist who's tried to get Elliot into his playroom, and his bedroom, since the first time they met. I was so entertained by their back-and-forth, passive/aggressive relationship that a small part of me was actually hoping he'd convince Elliot to get his subby self into the playroom. A very small part, because there will be no cheating on Tucker. And once they find each other again, sparks fly.

This series could go on for a while, and I'd keep up with the pair. But Lanyon has said she has no intention of returning to submissive Elliot and gruff Tucker. Since that's the case, she wrapped it up perfectly.
