Publisher's summary

Where does a warrior go when the war is over?

Forged into human weapons to defend humanity against impossible odds, Sergeant Major Reverent Pelletier and the rest of the IBHU Marines and other hyper-augments are discarded by those they fought to protect.

Now that the war is over, they are deemed too dangerous to exist.

Yet, they may still prove valuable.

With two recent deadly wars against alien races, humanity needs to know what other threats are out there. Exiled from human space, they are given a new mission: dive into the unknown depths of the galaxy and discover what else lurks in the far reaches of space.

Space is vast but full of danger. Discovering it is a near certainty, given enough time.

Survival is a different story....

Dear god please don’t be ending soon

Mr.’s Chaney and Brazee knock another homer with this book and Jeffrey Kafer’s narration is on point as always. This book, in a way, moves away from the firefights with aliens that I think I’ll miss. That being said the next hostile aliens with guns are probably just around the corner.

Without too much spoilers though I hope to see this series continue on much farther than this and I hope the plot point introduced in the last book and expanded on in this one continues this series. Can’t wait for the next one.

The possibilities for this series have just QUADRUPLED!!

(No spoilers!) Instead of beating a dead horse like so many others do, Brazee gave us an epic finale with the last book - and pivoted into an amazing new beginning with this installment. With the Sibs in Steel in “exile” exploring the unknown - the kinds of adventures (and perils) they can run into are limitless! I’m so glad Brazee had the wisdom at the fork in the road to turn at Star Trek Ave rather than Indiana Jones Drive. This story proves that this new formula is going to work out JUST FINE… and I couldn’t be more pumped!

Excellent military science fiction.

I admire how this series has continuously switched directions when it seemed that the next chapter was going to have a predictable plot, without being randomly illogical. While at times it seems like the main character has a bit too much plot armor with going against orders. It does at least give a reasonable explanation as to why, like his Superior is a buddy from boot camp or Rev is able to give a good reason as to not to rot in the brig. I think recent books have raised the stakes and I like it. Also while the author conveys some of their opinions about military life, what is right or wrong in warfare and so on, they are not bashing the reader over the head with an obvious political agenda.

Exiled to Perdition

I enjoyed the read. I was a little disappointed at how slow moving the read was compared to the other books in the series.

After the lose after ///// we will not be sending ///////////. This order comes from Titan itself. Although I don’t like it, we won’t. The lose of the Genisians ///////// will make one lose end the fleet.
