Publisher's summary

I'd had less than a week to recover from an incident that left me half-dead. My body was battered and bruised in ways I can't even begin to describe.

Dark magic use had consumed me, spat me out a husk of a man. I was little more than flesh and bone, weary to my very soul.

So, of course, there was a knock at the door.

My smile faded, happy face turning to tears, as Kate - a gorgeous vampire and the woman I lust over at every available opportunity - told me the news. Dark magic came to me as my eyes snapped to black and my tattoos felt fit to burst with the energy they channeled.

I'm Faz Pound, a.k.a. Black Spark, Dark Magic Enforcer, and a goddamn wizard!

I'll tear apart hell itself to get at anyone or anything that dares hurt the people I care about. Nobody messes with me or mine and lives. Nobody.

Things are about to get nasty.

My new favorite series

This was a witty funny and action packed book, I just fell in love with Faz Pound, his throbbing black tattoos and his weakness for fairy ears. I like the way that this book picked up where Black Spark left off. I'm searching for book 3 and I'm sure I'll zoom through it in one sitting. Now as far as the narrator, no one can make a story more real than Gildart Jackson can. Good job. 🙃

Give me more, This is great!

Well lust no more Spark. You and Kate have got that settled. He is still recouping from the magic fight from book 1, when he discovers granny is missing. Like any magic user with little sleep, the power the render great destruction, and the anger over a love one is missing, Spark is not to be appeased. He is ready to raise hell. The action was steady and fast paced from the start to finish.

On the road to find answers to granny’s missing, he discovers his mentor, Rickers is also missing. On the road to avenge/ find them, we learn Spark’s history with them and magic.

This is an excellent demonstration of granny's magic. Sparks feels that granny gives people what she thinks they need. Is this something that she brought upon herself?

Rickers - if you read book 1, you know that he has power. His power does not disappoint you here. Actually he is my favorite character because of the juxtaposition of his physically appearance, management style (lazy) and what he can do.

Like many series there is a repeat of previous events but you book 1. But read book 1, there are nuisances that you will miss from a short mention in this book.

Unlike the first book which illustrate the political hierarchy of the world, this story is more Spark’s story.
