About this listen
Charlie is a boy who has suffered a terrible loss. And, as he's healing with the help of his dog, another tragedy occurs.
All Henry has wanted is a dog of his own, and now that his best friend has moved away, his parents still won't let him.
Bone, Charlie, and Henry live very different lives, but their stories connect in surprising ways. Award-winning author Ann M. Martin has written a powerful, heartfelt novel that's perfect for anyone who has ever longed for a dog, or loved one.

Story
Rose Howard has OCD, Asperger's syndrome, and an obsession with homonyms (even her name is a homonym). She gave her dog Rain a name with two homonyms (Reign, Rein), which, according to Rose's rules of homonyms, is very special. Rain was a lost dog Rose's father brought home. Rose and Rain are practically inseparable. And they are often home alone, as Rose's father spends most evenings at a bar, and doesn't have much patience for his special-needs daughter.

Story
The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It's lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, or any of the other giants - rather than the BFG - she would have soon become breakfast. When Sophie hears that the giants are flush-bunking off to England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

Story
Ivan is an easygoing gorilla. Living at the Exit 8 Big Top Mall and Video Arcade, he has grown accustomed to humans watching him through the glass walls of his domain. He rarely misses his life in the jungle. In fact, he hardly ever thinks about it at all. Instead, Ivan thinks about TV shows he's seen and about his friends Stella, an elderly elephant, and Bob, a stray dog. But mostly Ivan thinks about art and how to capture the taste of a mango or the sound of leaves with color and a well-placed line.

Awl
Stories tied together and such a great way didn’t expect a thing about Charlie and Henry spoilers ahead love the ending when buddy bone or Simon is curled up next to Henry and Amelia Earhart is laying on his feet so adorable ❤️ love this book so much and recommend it to anyone who asks for a book recommendation. I also believe that you could read a 🦴 DogLife first or after this and enjoy either way as someone who is read both books I’d say that you should read both Books, although Everything for a Dog is considered book 2 they are more companion novels to each other one into series however I’d one little teeny problem. Did not like how the story was switching from chapter to chapter however, that is not a big problem and I love this book so much instant classic narrating was also amazing. Great for all ages, if you’re trying to keep your children entertained, however I will say that I wouldn’t recommend this book for someone under the age of five and all this is about a dogs life maybe a dog life for someone under seven. Or a middle-age mom trying to rest after a long day but wanting to read with your kids read it either way amazing would recommend five stars.
