About this listen
[Contains explicit content] This is Sounds Like America, a wild sound collage of America starring the people who've seen it all and tell it like it really is: comedians. In this episode, Milwaukee-born comic Jackie Kashian introduces us to that huge swath of territory that lies in between the country's most expensive real estate markets. Ah, the Midwest - land of cornfields, common sense, and questionable diets.
The comedy in this episode was recorded at live venues all around the country. It features Derek Sheen, Andi Smith, Matt Braunger, Rob Brackenridge, Johnny Pemberton, Mike Brody, Cash Levy, Geoff Tate, Mike Lukas, Megan Gailey, Mary Mack, and Tom Segura.
Also featured is an interview with Dan Savage, as well as several noble people we bothered on the street and in the office.

Just complaints about non-city life
I was expecting to laugh, but it was mostly complaints about not living in a city with clear political leanings.
