Sloan and Kallie

Kallie grew up and works in her father’s PR business. She is offered a lucrative job, requiring her to live 6 months in California. This job is to clean up Sloan’s reputation.
Sloan was a race car driver, with a large chip on his shoulder due to an accident, which took him out of the race permanently. The two quickly fall for each other, and romance develops.
The story line was interesting. The characters are well developed. Narration is great. I enjoyed the story.

that's a wrap!

Such a great wrap up to this intense series. The number of emotions you feel through out this is so intense.

This is the second gen of the series. Kali is the daughter of the main characters in the first two books. After going on the journey with her parents to finally find their happily ever after, you almost feel like a parent watching you baby find love.

I really enjoy the way Dakota makes you feel like your not just a fly in the wall but your in the story with the characters.

Fade Into You Series

Endurance (Fade Into You, Book 3) is a passionate sports romance with compelling characters. Sloan and Kallie's romance is just like the grand prix, a addrenaline high. I love the prologue and the gypsy aspect of the story. Perfectly wrapped up ending.

Wen Ross, Kai Kennicott dual narration was an escape. Wen and Kai bought the characters and their story to reality. Wen's tone is intoxicating and Kai's sweet inflection together brings magic.

Excellent performance and story.

Endure for you

Oh what a great listen! Well written and beautifully narrated - this romance read gives all the feels. Our main characters are Sloan and Kallie. Sloan is a former race car driver struggling to come to terms with life after a debilitating accident. Kallie is assigned as his PR rep to help clean up his image. Kallie is a big believer in fortunes and was given a warning as a teen that has haunted her for years and now that she's back in CA the warning comes back to the forefront once she meets Sloan and the two are inexplicably drawn to each other. I love that these characters struggle with things that are so real - and that while there is so much heartbreak there is still the budding of love and romance to be found as well. A great balance of romance, heart break, steamy chemistry and a bit of humor too. Love how captivated Sloan is with Kallie and how vibrant Kallie's character is. The dual narration is perfectly done and really brought these characters to life. Love this listen and looking forward to more!

Kallie and Sloan

Endurance by Dakota Willink is part of the Fade Into You series but this time it's the turn of Slone and Kallie, she's the daughter of the main characters in the earlier books of this series. Although this is part of that series I feel that you could definitely listen to this storey without having listened to the first two.

Sloan is a Formula 1 driver who suffered a career-ending injury a year ago now he's finding it hard to adapt to the changes he's had to make in his life. He's definitely in need of help with his image and to this end, Kallie is hired as his new PR agent. Kallie is not the type of woman he would normally fall for but he finds her company addictive and when she's not there he's lonely.

Kallie was told by a Gypsey that she was cursed to only ever find heartache in love, now Kallie’s trying to decide if she should accept her boyfriend's proposal. She needed to think about such a big step and so when her father asked her to take on a new client some distance away she accepted. But she wasn't expecting to meet anyone quite like Sloan Atwood. Their attraction is immediate and like nothing, she's ever felt before and it kept deepening and growing, could the Gypsey be wrong Is Sloan the one to break the curse or would they break each other?

I enjoyed Kallie and Sloan’s story it was easy to become engrossed in, the writing style is good and the characters are well-drawn, somewhat complicated and have incredible chemistry. There's lots of steam too in this sweet and sometimes funny poignant, tender love story. It's an emotional page-turner that I didn't want to stop listening to, I was hooked from beginning to end.

The narration is excellently done by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, they are both very talented and were able to make me feel the emotions felt by the characters, they really worked well together in this book bringing every character to life.

Curse or Cure

They are certainly combustive together and their story is delightful!
Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott do a marvelous job with the narration. Their dynamic and well-modulated voices bring each character to life with a distinct personality and attitude.

Sloan had not idea what was coming

Sloan Atwood had racing in his blood, it is his first love. An accident a year ago ended his racing career, he was not adapting well to the changes in his life. When he meets Kallie, Rainbow Bright, she is not his usual type, but he finds her mesmerizing. He is addicted to her, he is lonely when she is not there.

Kallie received a warning from a gypsy, said she was cursed in romance was destined for a life of heartache. Kallie’s boyfriend asked her to marry him, she did not accept right away, she needed to think about it. When her father asks her to take on a client across the country, she jumps at the chance. What she did not plan on was Sloan Atwood, the attraction she felt for him was like nothing she ever felt before, and it kept growing. Is Sloan a way to break the curse or would he break her?.

Emotional

It was so easy to get lost in this audiobook. Sloane and Kallie have a story that is packed with emotions and steam. I had an easy time empathizing with Sloane and the aftermath of his accident. I love the evolution of the couple's relationship and how it budded then became so much more. I really liked the narrators and dual narration for this story. I felt like the narrators did a great job at matching the characters. This is an amazing listen and story.

Endurance

I would highly recommend the audio version, Dakota did an excellent job in selecting the narrators to bring this story to life. This book has all the feels, and totally worth it! It's a great addition to both the driven world and to Dakota's books. This is Solan and Kallie's story and they go through all the feels! It's not such a wild ride where you get sick of the back and forth, Dakota did an excellent job in keeping everything just right.

Endurance Fade!

This is the third story in the "Fade Into You" series. It is a stand alone read, in my case listen. The narrator did a great job reading the story. This story is about Sloan and Kallie. He is a racecar driver whose life and career are spiraling out of control and he has turned to drinking and drugs. She is the PR who has been hired to clean up his image. These two feel a connection with each other but have a lot of hurdles, including their past, to get through before they can find happiness. I love how their story develops. It is interesting and develops very nicely but it is an emotional journey.
