About this listen

From USA Today best-selling author W Winters comes an emotionally captivating and thrilling, romantic suspense.

He holds a power over me like no one else ever could. Maybe it’s because my heart begs to beat in time with his. Maybe it’s because my body bows to his and his alone. Maybe it’s because he thought he loved me before he even laid eyes on me.

He thought wrong. It wasn’t me he thought he loved, and nothing has made me suffer like that little secret has. He thought I belonged to him, but he was wrong. It was never supposed to be me.

Our memories are deceiving, but I know what I want now. What I need more than anything. I won’t rest until he’s as much mine as I am his. It’s always been him.

WOW, everything you want in a serious

I am obsessed with Willow Winters books. I am about half way through all her books. But this series was just special. The way the books flowed was different the way she normally writes and in the best way possible! The narrators were amazing! Thank you!

Strap in for an emotional ride!

What an amazing imagination Willow Winters has shared with us in this saga. Be ready to be taken on an emotional roller coaster with action, passion, pain and joy. But hang in there until the end. It will be well worth it.

Amazing

Wow.. I can't believe Carter and Aria story have ended, although I have heard they make their appearances in the future. They say that in order to get good things you have to be patient and I can't wait to read and listen more from Willow Winters.

That chic is the worst!

I’ve listened to so many books by now. But this narrator, Savannah, whines nonstop. So dramatic, it’s ridiculous. But Jacob makes up for it albeit not enough of his voice in there. The story could have been wrapped up much sooner without all her drama. Eesh

Finally Willow Winters gave me the ending of this twisted friends-to-enemies story that I am excited to complete. Phew! For a moment I thought I’d have to reach between the pages of this book to strangle both Aria and Carter! 😂😂😂 Can we say Communication is key! I loved the resolution of Carter and Aria’s love story. Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan were Fan-Freaking-Tastic with their narration and allowed all the Feels to bleed through with their emotionally charged reading. I loved it!

Wonderful Series! Get this One!

Love this mafia romance series, with all the intricate plots and subplots! The story of the the two main characters, Aria and Carter — who come from opposing crime families — will keep you cheering for them through the toughest of relationship challenges. There is never a dull moment.

My one complaint is the narrator’s choice to portray the female main character as a whiny, constantly teary dishrag. The choice to play Aria this way is inconsistent with her tough, take-charge persona. However, the story is so interesting and suspenseful that it’s worth it to put up with this whimpering woman.

Highly recommended book for interesting, highly developed plots and subplots, and characters that you either love or hate!

Trigger warnings: Capture, caging, physical and psychological abuse, torture, and dubious consent. Also very crude sexual language if that bothers you. Extreme mob violence (guns, knives) with very gory detail.

Love Aria and Carter. Fantastic narrators!

This series was so addicting. I needed to know what was going to happen and how everything was going to end so I basically listened to this nonstop. So much angst between Aria and Carter but Carter finally sees what he has been doing in this book. It is hard not to like Nikolai especially after what he did to help. Love the Cross Brothers and can't wait to read about the test of them. So happy with this ending. I love these narrators. Jacob Morgan is seriously amazing!

Only one gripe about this series!!

I loved this series. I mean come on Jacob Morgan can read a cookbook to you and make it hot. But The lead female I have never wanted to jump into a book and snap a chicks neck so bad so so whiny wishy-washy. Run off to get attention. Then people end up dead. Or broke up. Now that’s behind us.... the series is a tad twisted. So if your whinny an all about unicorns an rainbows then I would move on. It was great story. Very worth the credit love me some willow winters. And there’s JACOB MORGAN!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
