Finally, a magical story where the main characters are actually believable! They are not portrayed as always being strong and arrogant.
They have PTSD, social anxiety, they're going through therapy, etc. And building believable relationships.
P.S. emotional support swords 😅

The Elven Alliance is one of my favorite book series. I have read all the books and throughly enjoyed listening to the story. Highly recommended.

Loved this series , I really enjoyed the story line, the character build, slow burn clean romance and several times I caught myself laughing at the characters. I would recommend and listen again!!

I didn’t really like it much at first because I thought Essie asked waaaayyyy too many questions. I found myself thinking “just quit wondering about this and that and just get back to the story.” I was intrigued enough to keep going and I’m so glad I did!! It turned out to be one of my favorite stories I’ve read in a long time. I hope that someday the author writes about future generations of this great family.

What an unforgettable story of duty, honor, betrayal, sacrifice, and above all, love. This is high fantasy at its best! Great performance by Liz Brand. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the relationships between all characters. They just flowed together without any effort. They brought the books to life by how all the characters grew to love and respected each other. I can’t wait to listen to the other books.

These first three Elven Alliance books in this boxed set I found very enjoyable. It had great charactors, suspense, humor and clean romance. The reader did a great job with all the different voices. Definitly a credit well spent. Time to listen to boxed set #2!

It was overall excellent! But I have to say , its so VERY GREAT to have a series without all the over stated sex scenes. I really appreciate this author!

very wholesome. well written. too Tamed for my taste, but that's on me. this series is perfect for those who crave true love without spice.
my one hang up...is that if Elven shampoo and conditioner was a real thing, I would swear this series is sponsored. the amount of times it's mentioned almost stopped me reading.
love of your life came near death, and so did you. how silky smooth his hair is despite all the blood is probably not a thought crossing your mind.

I think the best thing about this book series are the characters. The plot is excellent as well, but the characters are just complex and wonderful, and not what you are expecting. The female lead is bubbly, positive yet real. And our hero is both a killing machine and a gentle soul. A secondary characters are just as well thought out and add to that a complex and creative plot and you get an amazing set of books.
