In his early 20s, Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, rose to the heights of fame and power in the cutthroat music business. A decade ago, the multi-platinum selling rap artist decided to pivot. His ability to adapt to change was demonstrated when he became the executive producer and star of Power, a high-octane, gripping crime drama centered around a drug kingpin's family. The series quickly became "appointment" television, leading to Jackson inking a four-year, $150 million contract with the Starz network - the most lucrative deal in premium cable history.

Years ago, Tabitha Brown started a 30-day personal challenge that she called “I Did a New Thing!” The challenge was simple. Every day she would do something she’d never done before. Sometimes it was something small like trying a new food. Other times, she’d step it up a bit and speak to someone she’d never spoken to before. Still other times, she’d do the hard thing—facing a fear that she had, like having that tough conversation with a friend. No matter what it was, the point was that she was going to take a leap of faith and watch God open up a new lane for her.

If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one. After 17 years - and countless broken bones and broken promises - she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close. But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she's spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything.

People are the ultimate performance variable, and understanding how to effectively blend knowledge of proper training with the nuances of human behavior is integral to helping athletes achieve their ultimate goals. Unfortunately, while much attention has been given to the science of physical training, little attention has been given to the science of communication.

Everything
Being a Ft.Myers native and growing up in the Dunbar area I witnessed first hand all the things that Prime spoke about in this book. He is an incredible inspiration to me and an infinite number of men who wanted to follow in his footsteps. I was truly blessed by the way he kept everything 100 and gave you TRUTH. Just seeing how the Lord is using him to build into the lives of people is absolutely incredible. If you are ready to be challenged in your everyday life journey and given tips on how to maximize the gifts you’ve been given, then this book is for you. Primes testimonial on how he came to know Christ for himself moved me as I know it will do the same for you. It’s a book for the ages! Can’t wait for volume two which will cover how he became the first black head coach to win a national title in a power five conference. Thank you “homeboy” for choosing to make the world better than the way you found it.

Inspiring from a unique perspective
I was skeptical that this book would offer lessons and insights that would be groundbreaking or original. I was not 100% wrong that the 21 lessons are not going to shock you. I was wrong to think that listening to Coach Prime discuss the topics would not be one of the best performances from a reader/author. His smooth voice and calming swagger make this audiobook a very easy listen. He tells personal stories and offers perspectives about each of the 21 lessons that somehow feel relatable even when read by one of the greatest athletes of all time. A must read for all ages!

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ/LISTEN!
Fantastic book from start to finish! It felt like a casual conversation from someone I personally knew. Deion Sanders is a natural when it comes to storytelling and motivating.

Inspirational and motivating
I loved the Overall story and getting to know the real Deion Sanders as a man outside of his persona. I felt inspired and motivated to finish what I started.
