Great Book to Start learning Egyptian Myths

Great book full of many wonderful stories told by a narrator who brings a spark of joy to the readings. It’s very easy to read ancient history books in the same dull monotone voice. But Mr. Hunt really helps bring the old stories to life.
Would recommend reading this book if your new to Egyptian Mythology, or if you would like a nice refresher course.

Great listen!

Great stories, well told. Do not do anything that would take up too much attention while listening. Perfect for folding laundry, mowing the yard etc.

The First, The Foundation to all others...

Every Myth, every GOD and GODDESS in each culture came from Africa...stolen from Africa. I have 3 Egytain history books in my personal library that I picked up when in college...over 20 years ago and read each once for a paper. The knowledge learned then set in and have carried with me well without realizing. Christianity never sat well with me as most organized religion hasn't. I will continue to follow where my soul and spirit leads me. Thank you Nut. Thank you Ra and Amun Ra. Thank you Isis. Thank you Maat.

Refreshing

It's hard to find good collections of Egyptian mythology that explains the cosmology of the religion. As well as keeping the morals of the different stories intact.

Epic

I thought this was a beautiful retelling of these tales. Yes, there was some verbiage that wasn’t era appropriate, and I wish there was more details in some spots but overall the flow was beautiful and just the opening story of creation alone, was pure genius.
