Easy Pickings
This was a pretty good short story. I listened to it on audiobook while on a bike ride. I didn't really like the way the bully and his internal thoughts were presented, but it didn't detract from the tale overall. The ending was a bit confusing for me, I thought there could have been more in the way of explanation. Specifically Jack and his desire to have his turn... trying for no spoilers. Still liked it.

LOVED LOVED this voice
I devoured this short in Aydible form and loved how the voice was a true performer with a wide range and a skilled way of making the characters come alive. This is a story about children, and I'm obviously not a child, but it did take me back to the days of trick or treating. A quick listen, but still fun

good ol Halloween fun!
Easy Pickings by Jason Parent is a fun and quick listen. It's just under a hour. The story is about 2 bullies that find out there is even bigger monsters than them out on Halloween. This is just the thing to get you in the Halloween spirit. It's read by Commodore James. He does a great job bringing this story to life.
I requested this audio book in exchange for a honest review.

Great Halloween story
I love Halloween. My cousins and I have Facebook wars over Christmas decor taking over Halloween decor etc. I was very happy to come across this gem. This is one of the stories in. A Halloween anthology that has now been added to my wishlist as I want to hear the others as well. This one centers around a bully who spends Halloween night looking for Easy Pickings to steal candy from and how he gets his just desserts. Highly recommend. Good Halloween Tale
This is a fun Halloween story about a bully and his underling taking Halloween candy from other kids, told in a comedic way. Thank's to the author or narrator for providing me this free audiobook, and this is my voluntary review...Commodore James was the narrator and he did a nice job.

Good Halloween Horror
I wasn't quite sure what age group this was written for. Some of it seemed a bit childish at first but I eventually go to the point where I wouldn't have let my child listen because of the gore and that she wouldn't have understood what was going on. So I will say this is definitely for adults, although, maybe younger adults. I still enjoyed it, although hardcore horror fans might think this is a bit weak. Commodore James did an excellent job with the narration. I really enjoyed his character voices and felt that they really brought each character to life. Karma Strikes Back
I listen to this story with a friend of mine and her pre-teen son and he got a real kick out of it. the story is well written with a hidden moral that I love and hope it sticks. I really liked Jack and Jacob they truly made the story. My friend's son got a kick out of the sound effects. Commodore James did a great job as narrator the voices he used for kids was amazing. I recommend this story to anyone over the age of 14. This is my honest unbiased review.
