About this listen

All Jake Goodman wanted was a good night’s sleep. But at what cost?

A former MMA fighter with a crippling case of insomnia, Jake is finally able to get some shut-eye for the first time in his life. Sort of.

As soon as he falls asleep, Jake is transported to a dreamworld known as the Orange Vale. Able to wander his dreamscape at will, Jake sets off to conquer the dungeons of the Orange Vale, facing off against hybrid monsters and eerie shadow dragons.

Alongside a beautiful beast tamer named Catriona and his pitbull, Bruno, Jake challenges these dungeons with the hopes of capturing their dungeon cores and freeing the beautiful dungeon maidens trapped within.

As things get more complicated in both worlds, Jake faces an existential crisis.

Can he sort his dream life from his real life? And when his two lives inexplicably cross paths, can he solve the riddle before the Darkness destroys the Orange Vale?

Who is the mysterious Dungeon Goddess, and how is she related to both worlds?

With the help of friends old and new, join Jake on his epic journey to get the answers he so desperately needs.

Dreams really can become a reality, and as Jake is about to discover, nightmares can, too.

Listener discretion is advised: Dungeon Goddess contains multiple romantic partners/undefined relationships.

Solid Start to a New Universe

Just finished this audiobook a few days ago. Really enjoyed the mechanics of how this story worked in the 2 worlds. A lot of credit to making this story stand out also goes to the Narrator/Performer. She did a great job voicing the different characters and putting in their feelings/style/attitude/etc into how they talk. Helped me imagine the characters interacting. Good mix of action and world building/intro to this set of universes. Smutty parts were well handled and appreciate authors intelligence in promoting safe sex. Cool magic stuff and interesting world setup. Also nice to see a familiar face in the tale at one point. Eagerly awaiting next one in series!

fun diversion

Fun story and good narration.

Jake is a museum curator who is struggling with insomnia. When he can sleep he finds himself awake in another world - one filled with dungeons and dungeon maidens who are looking to be conquered.

Stephanie does a good job with the narration.

A fun escape - not the deepest book, but good fun

an interesting story

with a poor execution. The premise of the story was very interesting to me. it was just a shame tgat it was buried underneath so much distraction about sex. It's not something I personally want to see so ,in my opinion, badly written in an otherwise great book.

very entertaining

I want to say thanks to the author for an interesting and entertaining tale. the characters were unique and so was the story. Stephanie Savannah was great. she could make David Copperfield seem action packed. I don't like to criticize individual petty points. I only give my opinion of entertainment value. I have listened to 400 books and I liked this one but in this genre with bikini armour, beautiful ,sword weilding characters and overpowered MC s, I have never heard the word condom so much Even with mention of proper disposal of used ones.
you keep writing I will continue listening. you are my new favorite safe sex author. oh and kudos to your cover art person that is the most accurate portrait of a character ever

Amazing premise! Loved it!

This was one of those books that I didn't want to stop listening to and now can't wait until the next one comes out! I absolutely loved the premise of the MC traveling from one world to the other by sleeping in the opposite world. This book really grabbed me kept me enthralled feom start to finish. Really looking forward to the next installment and will buy it as soon as it's released!

Ehhh... Not the best

Several times in the story I just kept asking "Why?", and the only reason there is, was to keep the story going in the direction the author wanted it to end. Not very common sense or fluid storytelling.
