Story
Form-defining short stories. First published in 1914, James Joyce defined what the short story could be with his collection The Dubliners. A mixture of prose and poetry, each story can be listened to independently, or as a collection. From childhood to maturity, we see what life - and ultimately death - can be, via an extraordinary cast of characters, all of whom experience an epiphany. There’s Father Flynn, the priest; Evelyn, the shop girl who dreams of escape; Mrs Mooney, the butcher’s daughter, who runs a boarding house.

Story
On the face of it, a simple book of 26 poem fables sharing one man’s wisdom. But The Prophet is so much more than that. It has inspired people from John F Kennedy to The Beatles and became the '60s Bible of counterculture – all because of the timeless truths it shared. Each poem takes a different theme – pleasure, beauty, freedom, joy and sorrow – as the fictional Al Mustapha shares his thoughts and experiences as he prepares to travel back to his island home.

Story
This is perhaps one of the best-loved of all journals. William Wordsworth's sister, Dorothy, began it in May 1800 and resolved to keep it for a short time. She continued it for nearly three years. In it, she brought the Dove Cottage years to vivid and intimate life. She noted the walks and weather, the friends, country neighbours, and travellers on the roads. She set down accounts of the garden, of Wordsworth's marriage, their concern for Coleridge, and the composition of Wordsworth's poetry.

Straight and to the point
I loved listening to the useful tips for entrepreneurs that can be remembered in short points. Overall great reading performance done by the author that made the book feel more authentic even with the few errors made like repeating a sentence.

 interesting, eye-opening, and inspirational
As an entrepreneur myself, I have learned much from hearing his story, and also have seen myself with it in it. Great perspective over business, and regardless to if you are an entrepreneur, or just like fantasizing about it, there is much to learn on a personal level from this man highly recommend.

To FAIL is to SUCCEED
How many times have you heard a successful person brag about how many times they have failed instead of bragging of all of they have accomplished? This one has brought it to my attention, that failure is just as much a staple in success rather than being a negative concept.

Excellent Book; Hard to Classify
I received a review copy of this audiobook.
Given that the author explicitly defines his primary audience as entrepreneurs in India, there are limits on how applicable I can find it.
This book is hard to pin to a genre. It's largely biographical, but it isn't a straightforward biography. It has advice on being an entrepreneur, but it isn't a How-To Book.
The non-chronological order of the storytelling is surprisingly coherent. The author/narrator is pleasant to listen to.
There are at least 4 points where he clearly misread and corrected a line without editing out the mistake, but it was less distracting than this normally is. There are more cases where he reads a section twice, presumably because the print version includes a large print quote of text right by the actual text, which is unpleasant but not a big deal.
I recommend this audiobook to others. It was a good listen.
