Just Phenomenal!

Whoa! This story blew me away! These stories are so involved! I was thinking it would go one way then BAM—here is a new twist! I was shocked, surprised, angered and really just loved it! The characters are divine! Perfectly evil and protective at the same time. The female lead just is an impressive woman. Everything she has gone through and how twisted her mind can be….just wow! Of course then there is Harcourt..the man we love to hate? Well he really can play both sides and I loved how he grew and changed throughout the story

Overall this is another for my favorites list! I did listen to this on audio. The narration is perfectly done and really led me further into believing these characters

I have listened to several Cora Kenborn audiobooks now. I love them. This is the last of this trilogy and I didn't want to pause it when needed. The twists and turns were keeping me glued to the story. This will be the first time I disliked a main character, but loved the book. I couldn't wait for Brody's story. I wanted so much for him. Adriana was not who I would have chosen, but she couldn’t have been more perfect. She was hard, stubborn, and looking out for herself...until she wasn’t. What a great ending.

Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson are excellent narrators. They were perfect for this book. They brought the characters to life and it rolled like a movie in my head.

Emotional rollercoaster worth riding

This one hit me in all my emotions. Each chapter had me feeling a different way. What an experience! Adriana's whole life has been a lie. She went from being a mafia princess to being the enemy to the cartel that raised her. Now she has to prove her loyalty or get her revenge for her life being turned upside down. Brody is a double agent. He worked with the police force but he also works with cartel. Adriana and him are a dangerous mix together. But they have no choice as they need each other to get rid of the danger over both their heads and to survive. Talk about epic dark romance. I won't give too much away. This story has so many shockers. But it's a ride worth taking. I loved it! These narrators were the perfect Adriana and Brody. I didn't want it to end!

Amazing Trilogy!

This is the third and last book in the excellent Carrera Cartel Trilogy, a dark mafia romance. This is a series of standalone romances, and it's recommended to listen to this series in order for a better enjoyment. You won't regret it. Adriana and Brody's story is suspenseful, filled with mystery, danger, action, and twists and turns. Adriana is reckless, sassy, strong, and smart. Brody is handsome, dominant, and protective. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. I liked their banter. The cast of supporting characters is impressive, and I loved to see again the characters from the first books. The storyline is captivating, and the world building is complex, and intriguing. I love the family ties in this series. This is a great mafia romance, and a fantastic slow burn romance. Alan Carlson and Stacy Gonzalez did an amazing job with the narration. They are perfect as Adriana and Brody. I enjoyed it. I loved this Series, and I can't believe this is already the end. Good story, not much mob romance.

I liked the twists. Well written. As a Spanish speaker didn’t enjoy much how the author tried to give it the Hispanic tone. There was no Hispanic accent at all as it was supposed to be. Just don’t.

Drawn Blue Lines is the final book in the Carrera Cartel series. While technically a standalone I highly recommend reading the whole series as events are referenced in this book. However, Cora Kenborn does a great job catching new readers up to speed without it being repetitive to those who have already read the earlier books. Drawn Blue Lines is Brody's HEA and it's with the most unlikely of people. Adriana is bent on revenge but gets more than she bargained for. Drawn Blue Lines was full of action, suspense, twists, betrayals, and intelligent characters with smart mouths. I would have listened to this book straight through if I could but at the same time I didn't want it to end. Cora Kenborn is an amazing writer and Drawn Blue Lines is just what I needed. Brody and Adriana fight each other, themselves and together. Both are redeemed and are incredibly strong. I didn't see many of the twists which, to me, makes a great suspense book. I've been reading mystery/suspense/thrillers almost my entire life and I usually see twists coming a mile away but not with this series or Drawn Blue Lines in particular. Amazing.

Dark Mafia Romance

Drawn Blue Lines by Cora Kenborn is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stacy Gonzalez and Alan Carlson.

This is the third book in the Carrera Cartel Trilogy and each book can be read as standalone. However, for maximum enjoyment, it's recommended that you read them in order.

I absolutely love Cora's books! I was hooked from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adriana and Brody. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Stacy and Alan did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend his book to anyone who loves mafia/cartel romances, dark romances, enemies-to-lovers romances, or romantic suspense.

amazing finale/ powerful writing

Fire meets gasoline!!! Adriana was so filled with emotion and hate, that she was volatile. Then the hate turned into love. When Val told Brodie he could have anything he asked for, I cried and didn't stop until the last word.. I was on an emotion overlaod and a heart full to the brim. Hard fought for and won love and loyalty forever. Wonderful series. The narrators did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

when Opposites attract

Brody was lost in the world he was like a ghost between two worlds not knowing witch one he belong in to he was fighting him self because he wasn't sure if he was a prosecutor or a member of the Carrera cartel he was so used to being the one that put the guys that commit crimes away and now he is one and he's still not used to being held to a higher standard because he had to enforce the law not break it now he has to prove to him self that he's not dammed ever. Adriana had her hole life explode if front of her face she was taught to hate anyone with the last name Carrera and that they need to need killed in till one day she finds out that her whole life was a lie and she had the same name that she was taught to hate and that confused her because she always thought she was someone else and wasn't sure how to handle it so she put it in a box put a wall around her so no one would see anything but a cold hearted woman that she wanted everyone to believe she was but Brody saw though that and because he thinks he's dammed he decides to poke at her armor in till it crumbles only at first it was because he hated her for everything she did to him but the feeling was mutual then one day it changed and they no longer hated each other they wanted to save each other from the dark. loved the narrators they made the book come alive
