So much Sugar!

I have diabetes in my family so I've started to reduce my sugar intake over the last few years. So i was surprised to learn how much sugar I still consumed without even realising. It is time to review my eating habits once again. You also get some great healthy food recipes in this book.

Useful for people getting into ketogenic diet

As someone who is getting into ketogenic diet and intermittent fast, I think this book gives me great advice on how to reduce my sugar intake. Listening to this book helps affirm me why reducing sugar and processed food is a step into the right direction for a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy the recipe idea recommended in this book and looking forward to try them!

Humans Are Suger Addicts

Sugar is not your friend! Over 25,000 Americans lose their life because of sugar. The consumption of sugar is skyrocketing, and we should be more aware of it. This modern eating behavior leads to more heart disease, cancer, diabetes... I think this book should get more attention as this topic isn't discussed enough. The audiobook contains great alternative recipes for less sugar consumption, a guide to choosing the right sugar-free foods, and much more. I can recommend it to EVERYONE!

Totally PUMPED to start off my new year sugar free

I have been seriously considering giving up sugar this year. Not only have I watched it absolutely destroy my parents (diabetes) I have also found that it's having the same affect on me! I picked up this book expecting it to just be a bunch of recipes but it's so much more than that. It's like the anti-sugar manifesto! I love it.

This book is written by a nurse, so you know he knows what he's talking about. He goes on to use science to show that sugar is not a great addition to our diets. He makes a very strong case for giving up sugar and goes on to explain how we're addicted to it. I mean, I know I'm addicted to it but it sure it great to hear someone else say it!

The actual 21 day cleanse looks simple enough. And the food looks delicious as well. I have already started (day 3) and I can tell you that the food is in fact delicious!

I highly recommend you give this book a try. It's not your typical sugar diet book.

Quit sugar. Change your life.

Don't start your journey without at least a little bit of knowledge around the topic though. This book is a fantastic in-depth guide to learning how to quit sugar in the easiest way, with the least amount of cravings. This book not only delivers all the info you need but I feel pumped and excited to quit sugar! The author delivers the knowledge paired with a kick in the butt to get you not only quitting sugar but having fun doing it. Save yourself the struggle of trying to quit without this book. For the price it's a no brainer.

We all struggle with sugar addiciton!

It's true, sugar is more addictive than cocaine! We all struggle with it. Some less than others, but if you're looking for an "extreme makeover challenge" for your diet to help eliminate or reduce the amount of sugar you consume - this is a FANTASTIC place to start. Powers doesn't "sugar coat it" here, he gives you the facts and then a relatively fool-proof step-by-step system to eliminate sugar. We will all falter, it's a hard go - but with some will power, and some guidance from this book - you can do it! I definitely recommend this book.

Thought-provoking!

Sugar has long been a controversial topic of discussion and continues to be to this day. I like how Scott positions himself and his perspective and also gives you actionable insight on how to limit your sugar intake to see a change in your health rather quickly!

No more sugar for me!

I cannot believe that I had no idea how much sugar is actually in all our foods. I sure have started to cut out my sugar intake and am going to continue doing so for the next month. This book gives great and easy recipes and advice for new healthy meals and nutrition. I cannot recommend you more to try it out for yourself!
