Great story for kids

This is a great book for grade schoolers and middle schoolers. It touches on many difficult topics, such as bullying, disability and loneliness. It is well written for a younger audience. However, I did enjoy it. A story of a blind girl lost in the wilderness with a wolf by her side. It was a short story, that got it's point across quickly. I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator, Dini Steyn was good. Because this book was geared towards a younger audience, I only gave it 3 stars. Yet, it's perfect if you have younger children. A great story to read and then talk about what happened with your child.

I was thrilled to find a book with blindness rep

This book is about Denise, a child with blindness, who has all the friends she could hope for, except one... Vanessa. What lengths will Vanessa go to in order to make herself feel better and will it give her the happiness she hopes for?

I was thrilled to find a book that has a disability rep for kids with blindness that touches on the subject of bullying as well. When my granddaughter gets older, I will be certainly let her listen to the audiobook copy I listened to.

The author gave me this book through StoryOrigin in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for reading.

It's a beautiful story for families and children and really represents those with visual disabilities in a respectful but empathetic way.
