Story
It has been three months since the Hexford catastrophe, and Mike Yates is trying to show strength of leadership to the villagers. But with morale low and supplies running out, it is increasingly difficult to keep his own hopes up. Unless somebody finds them soon, the future looks bleak. So when the TARDIS materialises on the village green, it seems that help has arrived at last. But with two Doctors apparently at large, there is still the small matter of what was buried under Nest Cottage - not to mention who is clamouring to break through the protective force field.

Story
The year is 1861, and the Doctor and Mrs Wibbsey find themselves in the right place at the wrong time. At the rectory they encounter the ill-tempered Reverend Dobbs and his young ward Andrew, whose paper faces hide whatever horrors lie beneath. Tutoring him is one Mr Bewley, whom Mrs Wibbsey is startled to recognise. In Hexford Woods, the Doctor uncovers a secret which Andrew and his friends have been keeping. As the truth begins to emerge about the rectory’s occupants, it also becomes clear why so many people have disappeared from the village.

Story
When the sky rips open somewhere over Dover, two objects hurtle out of the Vortex and crash-land in the sea. One is the TARDIS, out of control and freefalling - but the other, a mysterious crystalline sphere, is far more sinister... The Doctor and Donna are rescued and taken to a secret command centre in the Dover cliffs. It's May 1940, and Vice-Admiral Ramsey is about to finalise one of the most daring plans of the Second World War: Operation Dynamo.

Story
Starfall: a world on the edge, where crooks and smugglers hide in the gloomy shadows and modern technology refuses to work. And that includes the TARDIS. The pioneers who used to be drawn by the hope of making a fortune from the mines can find easier picking elsewhere. But they still come... for the romance of it, or old-fashioned organic mining. Or in the hope of finding the lost treasure of Hamlek Glint, scourge of the spaceways, privateer, adventurer, bandit.

Enjoyable!
Caught in the story before I knew it. Useful length for shorter drives, quick listens. Great narration, believabe characters, fun and quirky storyline! All of this and I'm not a big Dr Who fan. At least I wasn't! I will keep buying this series.

The Doctor loves Paris.
Another great chapter in the series. I'm glad Tom Baker and Richard Franklin are back for another adventure. Plan to listen to the rest of the series.

Bloody expensive for what you get.
I had no interest in this at all after going through the Nest series, but this set was a present.
This story is a great deal better than the Nest series, but still feels a bit empty.
Still, no where near the quality of writing, story telling, or audio effects as Big Finish has been producing since 1999.
As others have complained, having to go through 5 files for one story seems a bit expensive, and I have to agree.
But it was a present...
