The Thrilling Sequel to the Bestselling New Release in Alien Invasion Books!= = =

"Never look directly at a gorgon. One look, and it's all over." But what if everyone you loved were dead? What if 85% of mankind had been killed off? What if you were forced to eke out an existence in the shadows, hiding from a terrifying alien species capable of telepathically paralyzing you where you stand, to consume you at their leisure? Welcome to the world of Dissonance Volume II: Reckoning, the thrilling sequel to the bestselling new release in alien invasion books.

If the science fiction books you're listening to seem too antiseptic or squeaky-clean, then get ready for a gritty thriller. Dissonance Volume II: Reckoning is in a league of its own, picking up right where Dissonance Volume I: Reality left off in a ghost-town future Earth of 2042 overrun by gorgons. There is terror around every corner, and survival is a daily struggle.

Sergeant Cameron "Jet" Shipley lost everything to the gorgons. But his loss doesn't stop there. In a world rife with post-apocalyptic danger, Cameron has lost faith in the integrity of his own Command. As the truth about the gorgons and the corrupt nature of those in power is revealed, Cameron must join in an inevitable revolt against those who refuse to see the reality of the situation: power corrupts, even on the very brink of extinction.

Bestselling Author Aaron Ryan continues the epic journey begun in Dissonance Volume I: Reality, taking listeners on an increasingly tense post-apocalyptic landscape in this alien invasion and military thriller books trilogy. As Cameron's thirst for justice battles with the desire for revenge, the fate of humanity hangs in the balance.

If you enjoy sci-fi alien invasion or post-apocalyptic books, you won't want to miss Dissonance Volume II: Reckoning. Buy now before the price changes and join the fight for survival in a world overrun by gorgons.

Terrific story & narration!! LOVED it!

This is such a great series & this second book was even better than the first (which I didn’t think was possible)! The character development brought such connection with all of the characters - resulting in genuine emotion as they struggle, experience joy, & when some die. The vocal talent of the narrator was incredible, & really allowed for that deeper connection with the story & characters. I could “feel” the pain being described in such detail. I absolutely cannot wait for Volume 3: Renegade!!

Hard to stop listening

Sometimes volume 2 of a trilogy is fluff…not this one. Jumps in where volume 1 finished and just kept on going. Excellent character development and plot. Really don’t like those Gorgons. Now I have to wait for volume 3!
