"Cayce colored Parachute"

I am a big fan of all Edgar Cayce material. Though I felt that this book was more of a career guidance manual that felt like the industry standard "What Color is Your Parachute" sprinkled with some Edgar Cayce wisdom in between. It is a good book if that is what you're looking for. It does have some relevance to all of us, but I felt that the book missed the mark by trying to be too many things at the same time. If you do like this kind of book, I would definitely suggest a hard copy of the book so that you could go through the exercises, which is more difficult to do with an audio version.

Bible based, All covered in church

Sure, the title sounds good, but there are way more bible references than I want to listen to. There's not much actual psychological information in the first hour or so. I heard all this information during my younger years, coming up in a religious household.

Not what it makes out to be

Would not recommend. I didn't finish it. I'm 60 and all it talked about is your life purposes in your 40s

Dry read

This was difficult to read, due to the focus on minutia of terminology and lack of interesting real life examples. Just too dry, full of generalities, and I regret buying it.
