About this listen
Yo. Crown Princess Myrindi of Talvayne here. This is the story of my life so far. It's an inspirational, uplifting tale that won't leave a dry eye in the house. The film adaptation's going to bring home seven Academy Awards and inspire at least twice as many hot new looks for spring.
Ah, who am I kidding? My life kind of sucks. I spent my childhood stuck in the palace with a bunch of dimwitted sycophants who think khakis are a good idea. I'm doomed to die a gruesome death during childbirth so my daughter can inherit the magic that protects my city. My father, the king, essentially jumpstarted a military coup by trying to sell my hand in marriage–and thus the throne–to the highest bidder.
Let's just say the runner up got his knickers in a bit of a twist. Now I'm on the run with a crew of mouth-breathing weirdos who may not have my best interests at heart, hiding out in janitor's closets and public restrooms and kitschy suburban homes and all sorts of places that make me wish I could bathe in bleach. I haven't had a decent mani-pedi in days. But you know what? This is my f'ing city and those coup jerks can't have the place.

The Princess Diary
This book is absolutely hysterical and the Princess is one sassy water nymph. I really enjoyed the storyline and the narrator was a big part of it. I would definitely recommend this book to others. This is my honest and unbiased review.

GREAT STORY AND BRILLIANT NARRATION
Loved this story! Mostly because of the way it shifted back and forth from narrative to diary entry. and the Narrator did it seamlessly. Princess Myrindi is so snarky and capable! She's my hero!

Life of a princess through her diary entries
Book 3 of the series shows us the early life of a water nymph princess blessed and cursed with a unique gift that protects the realm against "the rot". Shown through mostly her inner dialogue and journal entries, it also provides more context and another perspective of the book 2 finale events as well as small pieces of context for book 1. The princess is 10 to 16 years old in the book, yet she is cynical and has humor of a tired millennial with a dash of gen Z's obsessiveness with whatever trends are the hit right now. Can't wait to dive in the last book to see it all tied together 😁

On the run
Scott Cobly wrote a humorous urban fantasy novel. Jason L. Bishop did an amazing job on the narration. He makes the story come to life. It’s entertaining, interesting, engaging, and I love it. I find each story funny. I like how the characters develop Throughout the story. In this story the princess of Talvayne who doesn’t want to marry and die for a daughter who must inherit her ability of protecting the city. She’s on the run from everyone. Will she find what she’s looking for? Or will she end up back where she started from?
