love the series

I am starting to lose interest 15 books in and he hasn’t made it out of d grade. The last five books have been nothing but filler, and lacks the action of the first ten. It’s getting a little repetitive and the build up to ultim for the past four books hopefully it is something big for the slog we’ve had to endure.

Seriously 15 books in and still at "D"? Very disappointed with this book. I'm sure the next will be better. Still a dedicated fan but not a fan of this particular book ...

Confusing and slower paced

again. feels like mostly filler. more build up. more laying groundwork for additional bites of a story and introducing new plots while minimally advancing the current main story arc. as someone said. 15 books in and almost sorta moved one step within D grade. but thats it.

while I'm unlikely to give up on the series as of yet. I'm really hoping some of this build up can start making some real moves. wrapping up the current sub arc with the pillar and advancing more of the general story. too many vague hints and minor possible arcs are constantly being introduced without advancing much of the main plots and even advancing much of the minor ones.

I love to define very good book I think anybody that likes hopefully action or any other books are at you love this one

this book was a slog... moved very slow and is filled with so much inner monolog it couldn't keep my attention. hate to give up on this series, but the next book has a steep hill to climb or I'm done...

if i binged all books back to back I might know what's going on. Unfortunately, with all the different factions, plot points, abilities, characters, and overall abundance of things that take place in the soul or mind or sub/meta physical space i just cant be bothered to keep up.

I generally dislike how the author will choose over complicate things for the sake of sounding important rather than just explaining it. The general feeling of growth from the first books is gone and unless something changes I maybe only have 1 more book in me after this one.

Was looking forward to this book right up until the point the first chapter started and from then on it was 20 hours of filler and set up. What a waste of a credit…15 books in and I think I’m done, at this rate Ultom won’t be concluded until book 25.

I can not get enough of this. absolutely amazing story. I'm already looking for when the next one comes out!! i hope they make this into a real game!!!!! let me know if you need some help with that. ill be giving this a few re listens !!!

Just more jargon and bs. No actual story progression and all these story arcs are the EXACT same just in different places. Power levels don’t mean anything nor does power progression. MC is still in grade D. What’s the point of any of this??
There is no conceivable world where Zach doesn’t make it out on top, but we are still stuck in ever changing scenarios that WILL NEVER actually affect the end of any story arc, if the author is capable of finishing one…
