About this listen

The annual Key West Loves Literature seminar is drawing the biggest names in food writing from all over the country, and Haley Snow is there to catch a few fresh morsels of insider gossip. Superstar restaurant critic Jonah Barrows has already ruffled a few foodie feathers with his recent tell-all memoir, and as keynote speaker, he promises more of the same jaw-dropping honesty.

But when Hayley discovers Jonah's body in a nearby dipping pool, the cocktail-hour buzz takes a sour turn, and Hayley finds herself at the center of attention—especially with the police. Now it's up to her to catch the killer before she comes to her own bitter finish.

Better than the first book, though the mom (Janet) got on my nerves a bit, reminding me a bit of my relationship with my own mother. However, the book was enjoyable, made me laugh and kept me hooked until the end. Found the self depreciation regarding astrology funny as well

Like all of the series it keeps my attention and is never predictable. Also keeps what I love about cozies, characters become like friends and its always great to come back and see where they are and have been doing. I love the real places that they go to in Key West. Perfect anytime of year but especially transporting in the cold months- but great beach read as well. ❤️ love

Haley’s adventures in book 2 were a decent follow-up to 1st book. Pleasure to watch Haley grow into her character as an accepted islander! Pace kept things exciting throughout!

Great 2nd installment!
