Death at Fakenham Races was a fun listen leading up to the Belmont stakes. Interesting background, and a clever mystery as well. The ongoing drama with the regular cast of characters was especially enjoyable in this edition.

I love this series

Unfortunately, this book bored me stiff. Even with a handful of murders, it was very flat without any drama. It also needed a little punch of the team’s story, but there was very little of that.

Slow and Plodding
