Story and characters engaging

The characters are exceedingly well written and drew me in. I have worked with adolescents and his behavior and reactions are on target..
I liked the way the author brought in philosophical discussions and musings as well as the main characters realizing the value of life.
The performance was excellent and emotionally acted., His reading of this book is among the best I have listened to.
