Acerca de esta escucha

Crockett is the ultimate American backwoods legend. Actor Nicolas Cage narrates this lively tale, which follows the original ring-tailed roarer of the western woods through a series of outlandish adventures, including his campaign for Congress and the Battle of the Alamo, where he literally brags himself into American history. Musical accompaniment by David Bromberg. Ages five and up. Part of the award-winning Rabbit Ears series, American Heroes and Legends.

Nicholas Cage does such an amazing job. I recommend listening to this, for his performance alone. The background music is also very good. This story is not one that I would normally care to read, but I support anything Nicolas Cage does.

Nicolas Cage is a legend!

Wonderful stories produced by rabbit ears. Great for the family and for young children. The music in the background helps with these stories. This production is not as strong as some of their others but still worth a listen. And besides these are cheap.

So glad I found this again!! I have four boys and when they were little we used to listen to this several times a week. One of my sons memorize the whole thing by the time he was five.
we lost it and was unable to locate it for many many years. This has been wonderful sitting around the table with the boys again and listening to this and just having a great laugh. This is awesome!

Been looking for this for years!!!

If you like Nicolas Cage or a fun quick story that is read quirky and super not caring about the seriousness of the Alamo ;) this is for you!

Very fun and a quick little distraction

'David Crockett' starts off by explaining that all children should know their history. This was a great way to do it (with a little tall tale style embellishment thrown in)! My kids loved this story and sat quietly, listening to every word and laughing as Nicholas Cage brought David Crockett to life. I would recommend this title to anyone, as it was thoroughly entertaining and informative. Happy listening. 😘

Great!

This story is weird I don’t even know what’s going on in this book it’s about How Davy Crockett meet a bear and talks to it, then a possum complements him and he does not kill the possum, then he run for some government thing and some guys try to beat him up but he win the fight then the guys vote for him, then he moves to Texas and fight at the Alamo then says a dorky speech then dies and he telling you this story from heaven. It’s weird.

What? Is this
