Hanging up your dancing shoes isn't so easy when you can't let go of your former dance partner.
Welcome to Seattle, the Emerald City and home to the Single Dads of Seattle. Ten sexy, single fathers who play poker every Saturday night, have each other's backs, love their children without quarter, and hope to one day find love again.
This is Adam's story....
Single dad of Seattle Adam Eastwood knows that dance school is just the thing for his precocious daughter, Mira. She already spends most days twirling around the house in a tutu and tiara, why not pay a professional to teach her how to do it properly? Only Adam didn't account for that professional to be the Violet Benson from a very famous New York ballet company. Not only is Violet a natural beauty who floats more than she dances, but she's the kind of woman Adam's been searching for all his life.
Grieving the loss of her dance partner and boyfriend, Violet is done with performing on stage. How can she go on when the love of her life is no longer there to catch her? Deciding a change is best, she moves back home to Seattle, determined to fulfill their dream of opening up a dance school. It's not until she's asked to dance for Art in the Park that she realizes maybe she's not quite ready to hang up her dance shoes. Would it be wrong to take the stage one last time? It must be wrong to feel what she feels when she's dancing with Mira's handsome father.
Adam's wounds are still fresh from his divorce, and Violet's dealing with a loss of her own, but somehow they keep winding up in each other's arms with neither of them willing to let go. But it's never easy to conquer the past. Will Violet let fear and grief keep her from her dreams? Or will Adam convince her that the show must go on and dancing with the single dad might just be the way for her to find her happily ever after?
Note: This book can be listened to as a stand-alone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and, of course, as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliff-hanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you.

Dancing with the Single Dad is sweet, steamy, suspenseful, emotional and fun. I enjoyed this book and listened to it quickly. I loved Mira's sassiness, the incorporation of the suspense, the way Whitley Cox deals with grief and the emotional rollercoaster that that can be and the steamy scenes which were on fire. This is a cute series and I love the guys. I can't wait to see who will fall in love next.

I love single parent books and I have to say Whitley Cox knows how to write a great read in this genre, in fact I would go as far as to say I will be putting her on my list of go to authors.
Both Gregory Salinas and Erin Bateman are new narrators to me but they did a wonderful job bringing this entertaining story to life. This is one of my favourite reads so was nervous to see how it would come across in audible but I should never have worried.
Violet has returned home and opened up a dance studio after losing her dance partner who also happened to be the love of her life and the last thing she is looking for is another partner in dance and love but when Adam walks into her studio with his adorable daughter Mira sparks fly. Adam may be ready to get back in the daring game but Violet is still dealing with grief but when Adam invites Violets brother to join The single dads club poker night it leaves the door open for their adorable daughters to match make for Violet and Adam. Will Violet give love another go.........
This book has all the feels you want in a great read, love, passion, it’s a fun entertaining read with a hint of suspense. I’m so looking forward to getting to know the rest of The Single Dads of Seattle because I believe they all have a great tale to tell on their way to finding their HEA’s. Looking forward to book 3 in the series.
All the feels with great narration

The book comes with a note "This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, cursing, and of course as with all my books, this has an HEA and no cliffhanger or cheating. If you like single dads who take charge, this book is for you."
This is the second book of Whitley's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Adam and Violet. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Saved By The Single Dad to be released on audio so I can get Mitch and Paige's story.
Erin and Gregory did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like single dad romances or contemporary romances.

Violet is a mourning ballerina who lost the love of her life and moved back to Seattle to start fresh. She moves in with her brother, Mitchell and niece, and started her own dance studio.
Violet ends up being Mira's teacher and Adam definitely notices the gorgeous, Violet.
Let me just say the chemistry and sparks are instant!
Adam is one hot as hell nerdy professor who is definitely an alpha in the bedroom.
Gregory portrayed Adam perfectly as the sweet but dirty daddy!! Phew, I melted when she showed up at his office on campus!!
Erin was wonderful as Violet and captured her emotions.
I really loved the sibling relationship between Violet and Mitch. Whitley really weaves a beautiful story around the suffering and sadness in this book and makes it about something positive. The ending is really sweet and the epilogue was great!!
Hot nerd meets sweet ballerina!

Super cute story!

Characters: Violet has been through a lot. The love of her life passed away. Her father passed away. Her brother's wife passed away. Not all at the same time, mind you. It was very close together though. I admire her courage and strength to go on. As somebody who has experienced loss, I can say that it's not an easy task. Adam is pretty amazing too. He's a great father and he's so good to his ex-wife.
Critiques: There is a conflict between Violet and her mother that's not fully resolved. At least not in my opinion. It's just kind of left.
Narration: I loved the narrators. They did a very fantastic job.
Final Thoughts: I had my reserves because of the first book, but I'm thankful to say that I was wrong about that. I really enjoyed the book very much. It was a very heated HEA read.
