Story
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Excellent book for preparing new college students!
There's nothing but sound advice in this book for a recent high school graduate entering the freshman year of college! Most of the information in this book would also apply to non-traditional college freshman students. As a graduate of two colleges and sending two kids through college, I believe this book is a great resource, and I wish I had it when I first sent my kids to college. Anyone who's a parent knows that information from a stranger (or author with credentials) is received much better than from a parent...even if it's the same.

Excellent Freshman Guide for Surviving Collage
The first year in college is very stressful and overwhelming with everything from either dorm life or selecting a place to live to what classes to take, and the list goes on!!! This book provides an excellent guide for work-life balance with time for friends, studies, and the need to work. It's like a lifeline for those who feel unprepared. It is such a huge change in a person's life, going from living at home to being on your own for the first time being an adult with life-changing responsibilities. I highly recommend this guide for anyone who is starting on their college journey.

Great advice for that special, yet scary time!
I think all students should listen to this book before going to college. Maybe even in their junior year in high school to get mentally prepared. Realistic expectations are so important if you want to succeed. College is more like real life than high school and it's a tough transition. I like that this book has a plan for the summer before you start college, the first week, dorm etiquette, what to do and not do at college parties, campus safety, mental health check-ins, physical health check-ins, money management and ideas about selecting your major and much, much more. Great book!
