Publisher's summary

Everything feels off—especially me. I’ve returned to Katmere Academy, but I’m haunted by fragments of days I have no recollection of living and struggling to understand who, or what, I really am.

Just when I start to feel safe again, Hudson is back with a vengeance. He insists there are secrets I don’t know about, threatening to drive a wedge between Jaxon and me forever. But far worse enemies are at our doorstep.

The Circle is caught in a power play, and the Vampire Court is trying to drag me out of my world and into theirs. The only thing Hudson and Jaxon agree on is that leaving Katmere would mean my certain death.

And not only am I fighting for my life, but now everyone else’s is at stake—unless we can defeat an unspeakable evil. All I know is that saving the people I love is going to require sacrifice.

Maybe more than I’m able to give.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects, and cinematic music!

Such an amazing audio version

The book was amazing and so was the graphics audiobook. Melody Muze is amazing as Grace and it was a cool experience to listen to.

Voice Actors

Loved this story. Started listening to it with my daughter. The first book we listened to the regular audiobook. For the second we decided to listen to the graphic audio version. I’m so disappointed with the voice actors. The voice for Jackson sounds so old for the character he’s portraying. The voice for Macy is so valley girl like I couldn’t stand it. I feel like I wasted money on this book bc I can’t get through it just from the voice actors lol

Fun Fantasy novel

Main character is a bit sheltered and naive. But she grows on you pretty quickly.

Great story, horrible voice actor

Had to switch to a different version because the voice of Macy literally ruins your reading experience.

Cute story line

The story line has been semi predictable but I read a lot. I’ve had the books for a while but decided to try the dramatized on these. Macy’s voice drives me absolutely insane, but I love the other characters voices.

Will definitely be a DNF

Macy's voice got worse if that is possible. I literally cannot listen...and I'm so tired of being in Grace's head with her going on and on and on and on with supposedly witty one liners. I find the while thing annoying and not enjoyable. I guess it's just not my cup of tea after I finished the first book...really wanted to like this one.
