Finally

Starts out slow, but ends with a bang. I can't wait for the next book.

Skippy returns

Was on pins and needles to find out why Skippy left the way he did. I was a little disappointed, thought it would be a deeper plot. Overall I have to say I did enjoy the series.

It just gets better

Not sure what to say, but at the end of each book I want more. RC Bray is excellent!

Don’t listen to the bad review!

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! Contrary to what one reviewer said, I thought the new characters were developed to the point they needed to be and the action great. True, there was probably a bit more of the corny dialogue and Billby, the new AI, was a bit weird, but I didn’t find him off putting. I laughed my way through this adventure, as I did the others, and found myself standing still while doing tasks so as not to miss the various conflict scenes. I didn’t find the book tired and was actually relieved to see that, although the book could have ended here, there are four more episodes to the series. Bray was brilliant as always. - Be sure to stick around for the out takes at the end. Fun!

Excellent continuation of the series

This is the 10th book in the series. If you’ve listened to all the previous books, you (broadly) have a sense of what you’re in for. RC Bray is an excellent narrator as always (bonus points for the out-takes), and Craig Alanson’s writing is as good as it has been in any other book in the series. Yes, there are some familiar beats, but - if you’ve enjoyed it to this point, it’s likely you’ll enjoy this also.

I would say best one yet but they are all good.

Excellent story and performance. Joe and the merry band of pirates are back and we finally get the answer we have been waiting for. This story is delightfully different from the others in the series and there are even some new jokes and lines.

Another great one

For those that have been listening to the the exforce books since the beginning this is the most satisfying book yet. I really like the universe Craig Alanson is building and this book really moves the overall story forward by leaps and bounds. As with other books in the series sometimes there are discrepancies in the pacing. There are some instances/ problems that need solving that appear to move very slow and other instances where things that should take awhile or need more explaining are left to a few short paragraphs. It is often done as to not reveal a big surprise and considering the direction this book takes the overall story it is easy to let it go and just enjoy the ride. RC Bray is great as always.

Comfy scifi that welcomes you home with a beer

The series has grown, and is still the same ol exfor I've loved for years. It's only gotten better at being exfor, and is clearly only trying to be exfor, and nothing else. It's just fun
