Aurora is a planner and her friends like to tease her about it. She makes a New Year’s resolution to be more spontaneous. During her friend Marisa's party she meets Cole who is a total hottie. Aurora is drawn to Cole so when he makes her an offer, she takes him up on it. Cole lives up to his offer, but she has a plan and he isn't part of it.
Cole figures that he will just make an appearance at Marisa's party before heading home. Marisa introduces him to her best friends and as soon as he sees her friend Aurora he is wowed. Cole decides to get to know Aurora better and then asks her to celebrate with him. He realizes after being with her that he needs to figure out a way to keep her forever.
Aurora bugged me with how she treated Cole after their night together. I liked that her friends called her on it, but listened to her when she didn't want to talk about it. Cole was all-in immediately and it was so sweet. I wish there was an epilogue but I did like the way the story ended. I recommend reading this book. Or listening to it. The narrators do an excellent job. I really enjoyed getting to listen to this book. Hopefully there are more in this series coming!
