Publisher's summary

Ed London is the type of private investigator that you call to clean up the mess when your mistress turns up dead. But after he dumps a body in Central Park, it appears this case is still alive and kicking. Seems that the dead girl was in possession of something special that some very shady characters want back. Now Ed, along with his pretty actress friend Maddy, will have to crack the case before he ends up dead himself. But there's more than a murder here; there's missing jewels, Israeli intelligence, Nazi spies, and a host of double-dealing, backstabbing thieves.

GOOD BUT NOT BLOCK'S BEST

Would you consider the audio edition of Coward's Kiss to be better than the print version?

It would be about the same.

What other book might you compare Coward's Kiss to and why?

this could be compared to many of Lawrence Block's early books. The private eye in New York etc.

What about Peter Berkrot’s performance did you like?

I liked his performance but it seemed a bit strange to have a narrator with a bit of the south in his voice narrating a New York book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A WOMAN AT THE HEART OF THINGS

Entertaining

Entertaining and interesting story with a perfectly matched narrator. The narration was spot on in tone and style. Didn’t want it to end very old school!
