Publisher's summary

Covenant continues the beloved saga of the residents of Jericho, a sleepy town in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, where life and love have as many twists and turns as a winding mountain road.

Six weeks have passed since the fateful unfolding of events at the town fourth of July celebration. Questions swirl about the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of the town nemesis, Gerald Watson. Was it an accident, or was Watson murdered? As the scorching summer gives way to an early fall, suspects in the potential homicide abound, and everyone seems to be keeping secrets.

Throughout it all, bonds of love and fealty are stretched and tested as the endearing and quirky residents of this once-idyllic community weigh the covenants they keep against the secrets that threaten to tear them apart. Join Syd, Maddie, David, Michael, Henry, Celine, and the irrepressible Roma Jean Freemantle as they band together to navigate the minefields of their ever-changing world in this newest Jericho novel.

A very fitting and perfekt book and end to an era

I was counting the last days to this release . And as soon as the download was in my library I started listening . Straight through . I had to sit down sometimes to just concentrate on the story . Both near tears and crying laughing at the best parts . And now that I am writing the first review ( a big accomplishment of mine ) I am saddened and at the same time filled with love and great full that this book is a very fitting end of the area of the Jericho series . From reading book 1 for the first time online in the bard forum too the first audible release , till now in printed version and in Audioformate. The series has always been my comfort read under this decade and always will be . I can’t recommend enough to read them all .
My only beef is that there aren’t enough ducks or reindeer in the series 😁

Perfection…

I was thrilled Christine Williams was narrating this latest installment in the Jericho series. Her voice has brought this series to life perfectly from the beginning.
Ann McMan has written another amazing installment in the Jericho series. Anyone like me that was left with their jaw on the floor at the end of Goldenrod will find some long-awaited relief with this book. This is a brilliant series (a true masterpiece) and it’s one I know I’ll revisit again & again.

I just love this series

Front start to end these characters have grabbed my attention. I listen to a LOT of books on audible, and this is by far my favorite series. Crossing my fingers and toes that there will be more with the added characters from this book. #Buddyisthebest

I loved the series ... but ..

I enjoyed the series very much, my only detractors were everyone evil was a homophobic Trump supporter. she should have left the politics out of the books.

Just like the other in the series

This one was excellent, the story was engaging, it was great to return to some of the characters in Jericho. i was glad the story touches the transparent children victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Another winner!

Another wonderful addition to the Jericho series. There is something so special about the way Ann McMan is able to make the reader feel like they are a part of the story, I feel as if these characters are people I know and love. I hope that it won't be too long of a wait for the next book in the series...I will try to be as patient as possible. So, if you are at all debating whether to listen to this wonderful story just stop right now and buy it already!
