Publisher's summary

Great entertainment

Great story telling with an interesting historical backdrop. It is even better than "Au revoir là-haut"
I am usually suspicious when the author doesn't leave the narration to a professional but he does an excellent job (however the snippets of Polish are odd and really don`t add anything).

Passionnant et très bien lu

Une vengeance bien mijotée.
On croirait lire du Dumas.
Un auteur intéressant que je découvre

Enthralling story with a historical view

Pierre Lemaitre is a great storyteller and narrator shedding light on a historical period he researched in detail. Political, social and other topics are deftly woven into an entertaining narrative.

Fantastique
