I was so enthralled to hear another intelligent person sending this very important message to the world. I hope it's heard, loud and clear...especially by the ones previously unwilling to listen!

Also to hear of another parrot owner share her knowledge, respect, (true)love and time that she addressed this intelligent being(Cosmo) with...

True to life

After decades of living with parrots, none of this surprised me. I suppose most humans don't realize that parrots, crows (and the like) communicate in complicated and super-intelligent ways. Apart from the narrator whistiling, I fully enjoyed hearing someone else whose parrots construct "sentences." The message that humans are a little less special than many of us like to think, is a true and good one. Empathy for other thinking and feeling creatures is not only good science, it's part of growing up, as a species.
