Publisher's summary
Have you always wanted to learn how to speak Classical Arabic but simply didn't have the time?
Well if so, then look no further. This is one of the most advanced and revolutionary methods ever designed for quickly becoming conversational in a language. In creating this time-saving program, master linguist Yatir Nitzany spent years examining the 27 most common languages in the world and distilling from them 350 words that are most likely to be used in real conversations. These 350 words were chosen in such a way that they were structurally interrelated and, when combined, form sentences. Through various other discoveries about how real conversations work - discoveries that are detailed further in this book - Nitzany created the necessary tools for linking these words together in a specific way so that you may become rapidly and almost effortlessly conversant - now.
If your desire is to learn complicated grammatical rules or to speak perfectly proper and precise Arabic, this book is not for you. However, if you need to actually hold a conversation while on a trip to an Arabic-speaking country, to impress that certain someone, or to be able to speak with your grandfather or grandmother as soon as possible, then the Nitzany Method is what you have been looking for. This book is recommended for those who already have some prior knowledge of the pronunciation of Arabic accents (such as the Arabic accents: ayin, ghayn, ha, and khaf). For those of you who do not, this book does indeed provide some great, in-depth techniques on the pronunciation and recognition of these accents. These techniques have proven extremely beneficial for beginner students who were previously unfamiliar with these accent pronunciations. But keep in mind this isn't a pronunciation book.
This method is designed for fluency in a foreign language, while communicating in the first person present tense. Nitzany believes that what's most important is actually being able to understand and be understood by another human being right away. Therefore, unlike other courses, all words in this program are taught in English transliteration, without having to learn the complex alphabet. More formalized training in grammar rules, etc., can come later.
Learn Arabic today, not tomorrow, and get started now!
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Most people do their banking online, they use PayPal, they use email and these, plus any other service or website you use with personal information, are open to being hacked.

Language learning is seen as something incredibly difficult, and most speakers of English are brought up with the idea that we English speakers just aren't good at learning languages. But what if this isn't the true story? What if you could easily learn a new language and have fun doing it? In this book, I pull back the curtain to reveal the mindset and methodology of a polyglot. This book will dispel the myths, lay the foundations of the correct mindset for success, and inspire you to commit to learning that language you've always wanted to master.

In this unique new history of the world's most ubiquitous language, linguistics expert David Crystal draws on words that best illustrate the huge variety of sources, influences, and events that have helped to shape our vernacular since the first definitively English word was written down in the fifth century ("roe", in case you are wondering). Featuring Latinate and Celtic words, weasel words and nonce-words, ancient words ("loaf") to cutting edge ("twittersphere") and spanning the indispensable words that shape our tongue ("and", "what") to the more fanciful ("fopdoodle"), Crystal takes us along the winding byways of language.

Former middle school teacher and teachers' advocate Taylor Mali struck a chord with his passionate response to a man at a dinner party who asked him what kind of salary teachers make - a poetic rant that has been seen and forwarded millions of times on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. Based on the poem that inspired a movement, What Teachers Make is Mali's sharp, funny, reflective, critical call to arms about the joys of teaching and why teachers are so vital to America today.

Story

Roy Peter Clark, one of America’s most influential writing teachers, wants to change that by putting the glamour back into grammar.

Good course, but not for visually impaired
This is well narrated, and I'd love to take the course, but I feel like I couldn't use it without the PDF. As someone who is visually impaired, I can only listen. I can't read along with printed matter, so it didn't work for me. I think if you had the PDF, it would be great though. It's a good concept.

Great Arabic Book
Honestly really good buy, got it on sale for less than $5 and it was well worth it. Quick listen and lots of replay value. Only downside is that she moves very quickly through the content with little to no repetition in a single listen. Its designed so that you go back and listen to the chapter multiple times until you fully memorize the words and sentences. Very happy with the purchase.
