About this listen
This book is great for those just starting out in programming. And for those needing more advanced coding knowledge.
The author explains everything step by step in a simple and easy to understand way. This book covers JavaScript, HTML, SQL, CSS, and Python programming languages. The narrator in the audiobook version seems to be pretty good. He doesn't drone on. This book is a combination or bundle of two books. One book is 27,000 words on just Python, and the other book is 27,000 words on JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and CSS. The audiobook is 10 hours and 6 minutes.
In the first book in the bundle, The Ultimate Python Programming Guide for Beginners, you will learn all the essential tools to become proficient in the Python programming language. Learn how to install Python in all major operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, and even Linux. You will be guided step by step from downloading the necessary files to making adjustments in the installation for your particular operating system. Learn the command line shell, and how to use it to run Python in interactive and script modes.
Discover how the Python interpreter functions, and learn how to use the interactive command line shell through practical examples you can try on your own. Learn datatypes and variables in depth, with example code and discussion of the generated output.
Numbers are covered in detail, including a discussion of the four number types in Python: integer, float, complex, and boolean. Learn about Truthy and Falsy returns and how they relate to the boolean type. Practice with some of the many built-in python math functions, and discover the difference between format() and round() functions.
Strings are one of the most important variables in any programming language. Learn in-depth how to explore, search, and even manipulate strings in Python. Practice with Python’s built-in string methods.
Learn about Python’s control structures and how to use boolean logic to achieve your software requirements.
Inside the second book in the bundle, you will find an introduction to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. These are computer programming languages. Some of them are more precisely referred to as scripting languages.
Starting with JavaScript, I will introduce you to the above-mentioned programming languages. Hopefully, by the end of this book, you will have the answers to the questions of what it is and what you can do with it.
JavaScript is a programming language that allows for the implementation of complex items on static web pages. Every time you look at a web page that does something besides display static information, it is a pretty safe assumption to make that JavaScript is involved. It is often referred to as the third layer of the cake.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Real estate investors used to build wealth the hard way: slowly saving money and sacrificing their current happiness for a future reward. This method produces results in the long run but what if there's a better, more efficient way that works in years instead of decades? Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat (BRRRR) is the five-part real estate investing strategy that makes financial freedom more attainable than ever: You buy a property under market value, add value with renovations, rent it out to tenants, complete a cash-out refinance, and then use that money to do it all over again.

The grid is an accident of history and of culture, in no way intrinsic to how we produce, deliver and consume electrical power. Yet this is the system the United States ended up with, a jerry-built structure now so rickety and near collapse that a strong wind or a hot day can bring it to a grinding halt. The grid is now under threat from a new source: renewable and variable energy, which puts stress on its logics as much as its components.

Story
The grid is an accident of history and of culture, in no way intrinsic to how we produce, deliver and consume electrical power. Yet this is the system the United States ended up with, a jerry-built structure now so rickety and near collapse that a strong wind or a hot day can bring it to a grinding halt. The grid is now under threat from a new source: renewable and variable energy, which puts stress on its logics as much as its components.

Artificial intelligence does the seemingly impossible - driving cars, trading stocks, and teaching children. But facing the sea change that AI will bring can be paralyzing. How should companies set strategies, governments design policies, and people plan their lives for a world so different from what we know? In Prediction Machines, three eminent economists recast the rise of AI as a drop in the cost of prediction. With this single, masterful stroke, they lift the curtain on the AI-is-magic hype and show how basic tools from economics provide clarity about the AI revolution and a basis for action by CEOs, managers, policy makers, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Run a Google search for “black girls” - what will you find? “Big Booty” and other sexually explicit terms are likely to come up as top search terms. But, if you type in “white girls”, the results are radically different. The suggested porn sites and un-moderated discussions about “why black women are so sassy” or “why black women are so angry” presents a disturbing portrait of black womanhood in modern society. In Algorithms of Oppression, Safiya Umoja Noble challenges the idea that search engines like Google offer an equal playing field for all forms of ideas, identities, and activities.

This book is a great starting point!
This book was amazing in audio. I listened to it twice to and from work. the narration was good and I got a good grasp on the different languages. I ordered the paperback yesterday as I think it will help when I'm doing some of this stuff on the computer. This programming stuff in fun once you start to get into it. this book was a great start for me even though I didn't understand everything at first.

Great for beginners
I've always wanted to get into Python and JavaScript because I wasn't learning enough about it in my college course. This really explains it better for beginners than a beginner college course. If you're looking for an easy read then I suggest you give this a read.

Awesome beginner's guide!
The book is easy to understand and that is why it is excellent for beginners. It may take a while to finish it since it has more than 10 hours of recording, but believe me, it is worth it. You learn a lot and have a practical guide to begin coding. You can practice with the techniques and tips it gives you. I really like this book, it has helped me a lot with my coding learning. 100% recommended.

The "Motley Crue" of Languages
If you're looking to quickly dive into a bunch of useful web programming languages, you're in the right place. Easier than I thought. I recommend this title, especially when used in conjunction with the eBook.

Good book
It’s an overall good book but you need lots of patience because it’s too much information to be processed so you need to listen to it at least two or three times, be prepared and comfortable when you read it.
