Publisher's summary

SUBTITLE: "A Collection of Cardiac Book Titles By Jim Lowrance" This book of 17 chapters (approx. 19,650 words) is a compilation containing three of my previously published titles. The section on common ectopic heart beats (PVCs and PACs), is a subject that is also covered within a chapter of the section regarding heart problems associated with thyroid diseases as well but with added viewpoints. It is important to note that according to thyroid disease medical sources, including the AACE (American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists), half of the American population with thyroid disease, remained undiagnosed and this number is in the tens-of-millions and tremendously higher when worldwide statistics are considered. This is why I have included the section regarding heart conditions that are thyroid disease related. The information presented, can be of importance to anyone who is seeking to be heart-healthier and who is seeking to recognize signs and symptoms of the cardiac conditions that are discussed and treatments that are recommended/administered for them. I have endeavored to provide a good general educational resource on these common conditions affecting cardiac function, with some being benign and others being potentially serious or even life-threatening. It is my sincere hope that readers find helpful information within the pages of this book. PLEASE NOTE: Each title listed in the three sections shown below, are also available separately as paperbacks or ebooks. CONTENTS: SECTION ONE (Nine Chapters): "A Complete Look at Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome" SECTION TWO (Four Chapters): "Are Common Heart Skip Palpitations Dangerous?" SECTION THREE (Four Chapters): "Cardiac Effects of Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism" THE AUTHOR: I am a husband, father, grandfather and lifetime contract salesman, with experience in health writing that began in 2004. I completed theological studies with Liberty University in 1996. I formerly served as editor and forum moderator of Thyroid Health for a major multi-topic content site and as a general health writer for another, where I achieved Editor's Choice Awards for my articles on health subjects. In 2003 I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism; "Hashimoto's thyroiditis" being the cause. This autoimmune form of thyroid disease that causes destruction of the thyroid gland resulted in my also developing "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome", due to a compromised immune system with severe co-morbid "Adrenal Fatigue". I also suffered severe anxiety symptoms, including panic attacks early into the onset of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (Hashitoxicosis) and clinical depression. I was also diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and thyroid myopathy, with co-morbid nutritional deficiencies. I have also experienced episodic ectopic heartbeats, since my teen years, partially as a result of MVP-Syndrome. My eventual receiving of diagnoses was a difficult process with proper diagnostic testing not being ordered by the first doctors I sought treatment from. These types of issues were inspiration for me to become proactive in my own health care and to self-educate myself on these health disorders, which I have done extensively since 2003. I now enjoy sharing this information with other patients experiencing my same health disorders.
