I will listen to this more than once. Words I need to hear a few times. Great advice and therapy.

Best Therapy

This is a great book, easy to read and easy to understand. I learned a lot about myself by reading this book and my life immediately started to improve once I started to apply what I learned. Obviously, I am not 100% because I still have excessive thoughts and have not stopped procrastinating. however, with what I have learned, I have been able to be firmer and more self-loving and my relationship is no longer the center of my universe. now I feel able to set limits and enforce them and leave if I need to. I recommend this book to everyone. Regardless of whether you are currently codependent or not. Especially if you are or have been before.

Inestimabile!

I learned more about myself by reading this book than with other popular codependency books about procrastinating and thinking too much. I highly recommend it!

must read

This is the first self-help book I’ve ever read, and it is the best thing I’ve bought for myself. I struggled so much with putting myself last and putting everyone else’s needs first. I’ve also been unhealthily codependent on my bf to cope with what feels like a mountain of responsibility. Reading has helped mend my romantic relationship, gotten better at communicating my feelings and boundaries. To any one struggling with codependency, I recommend this book and hope you get better too.

Very Insightful

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

This book does everything in its power to be accessible, organized, and gently conflicted in advising you on the signs, symptoms, and ways out of thinking and acting codependent. If you find yourself sad and stuck, take this book and read it!

Very helpful.

Let’s see, 90% of this book is unintelligible gibberish, deftly seeded with garbage grammar and a narrator that I’m convinced is a computer program. Lacks anything of value, other than the money I paid for it.

Unintelligible

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

This book reads like a table of contents. It is flat, prescriptive, and seems to be a compilation of every kitschy one liner we’ve all heard before. I skipped through most of the book and didn’t bother wasting my time on it when there are so many other good books to read/listen to. Plus, the narration often mispronounced words as if it was a poorly trained AI agent reading it.

Don’t Waste Your Time
