About this listen

The compelling, beautiful narrative of Code Name God is one man's rags-to-riches story and, more profoundly, the vision of a world-class physicist seeking to integrate the findings of science, religion, and spiritual quest.

Born in the impoverished Indian province of Bengal, Dr. Mani Bhaumik became a scientist and co-invented the laser technology that made LASIK surgery possible. Upon realizing that fame and fortune could not provide him with the abiding happiness that we all seek, Dr. Bhaumik began the search for a deeper understanding of spirituality.

Code Name God chronicles the amazing life of a man who is from both the East and the West and who finally discovers that "happiness is an inside job". This book's prologue is read by Academy Award-winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley.

Souls with bodies rather than bodies with souls

Most amazing and sensical explanation of the mind over matter I've ever read. it explains the most abstract concepts so we'll, it makes perfect sense.

Alternative View

This is a stunning book from many pespectives. It gives a wonderful laymans insight into how the universe was formed. It gives a story about how someone with humble beginnings can accomplish so much. And it gives a perspective on how the existance of God can be affirmed by scientific understanding. A nice listen.

The best book I never read! I absolutely LOVED IT!

The life story of Dr.Bhaumik was nothing short of amazing and beautiful, fascinating to say the least. And then when we begin to broach the books principle topic, I was able to stay on task. Not that I completely understood everything but I understood well enough to not become disinterested or completely lost as we explored...QUANTUM PHYSICS....WHAAAAAT!
Thank you Dr.Bhaumik for this wonderful book and sharing you life's story!
Thank you Amazon for making this an audiobook!

So grateful to have found this book.

This reading came at just the right time for me. I’ve begun to listen to it again already and I know I will do that over and over. My thanks to Mani Bhaumik, Stephen Rudniki and Ben Kingsley.

Code Name God was Revelatory

I appreciated Mani Bhaumik and his skill and deep insights from life, career, and relationships. Most keenly, his relationship with God.

Indeed, Mani is a man I would like to know and discuss further these insights. This is how intelligent the book was crafted in that not only does one feel as if they know Mani, but also themselves, and even God more closely.

I experienced many personal revelations upon experiencing this book and highly recommend it to anyone who seeks the ultimate truths.

A real soul searching

Never seen such a spirituality in science. A great book for minds divided between science and meaning of it.

Gorgeous Book

Beautifully written… poetic and thoughtful. And a brilliant observation of quantum physics. I love the narrator too… his voice is both soothing and commanding, just as I imagine the author. Love this work.

The simplicity.

Understanding the 0 what it really stands for.
India got it from Atlantis, we got it from India in the seventh century.
