For bar managers, not hobbyists, and maybe just bad for everyone

If you want a book that is predominantly a spoken recitation of obscure glassware and list of various cocktail recipes, and you’re opening a bar that you don’t mind ending in economic failure, you might be satisfied with this. I say “might,” because even that is optimistic. Some of the recipes are completely of awful and would be viewed with contempt in the industry (just check out his Negroni recipe). Check it out it you have a $5 digital credit that is about expire.

Very inaccurate information

As a professional bartender of 10 years, this is a joke unless you’re just listening to it as a complete novice and have no interest in ever working in the industry. The names of the equipment are correct but other than that it’s all fluff and opinions. Namely “we don’t want to water drinks down too much with shaking”.. umm actually drinks are shaken or stirred in order to be diluted to the specific degree it needs to be diluted to.
