About this listen

Say goodbye to worrying about low engagement and ineffective learning: This guide has everything you need to level up your classroom management.

Do you ever feel like you’re not quite the teacher you dreamed you could be? Maybe you’ve experienced minimal engagement from your students during class, or you’ve been overwhelmed by low assessment scores. Perhaps you’ve experienced the awful sinking feeling of being unable to resolve a class conflict.

Being a teacher, especially for the first time, can be a challenge. There’s nothing easy about managing a group of young children who are all learning how to navigate their emotions and learn new things each day. Some educators, despite years of having worked in schools, still find difficulty in successfully managing their classes.

In fact, the University of Phoenix has found that a total of 77 percent of teachers have reported feeling stressed, and 75 percent have reported feeling anxious. There are some that might just resort to thinking that “kids will always be kids”, and opt to leave their classroom as it is for the sake of a quiet life.

But what if you learned that it’s possible to manage your classroom, ensure consistent learning, and create a positive environment?

In Classroom Management for Elementary Teachers, here’s a fraction of what you will discover:

  • The preparations you can make from Day 1 - to the practices you can implement until the end of the year - to make learning fun
  • What personality traits can help a teacher create a positive classroom environment (and how you can find yours)
  • How you can link learning material to real life lessons, and give students the motivation to keep learning
  • Why communication matters inside a classroom setting (and how you can inspire your students to be more responsible about it)
  • How you can introduce and enforce class policies - while getting your students to respect, understand, and participate in them
  • A fool-proof guide to recognizing and managing difficult behavior
  • What empathy and conflict resolution skills can do to improve relationships between you and your students - and how to use them
  • And much more

Avoid low engagement, ineffective learning, and low-quality relationships inside your classroom by preparing for the differing needs of your students.

Worried about experimenting with something as sensitive as classroom management?

Don’t fret - this guide has everything you need to safely and successfully experiment with the different techniques that can create a positive classroom environment for you and your students.

If you want to improve your students’ learning experience, then buy this audiobook right now.

classroom management

I loved this book. There were strategies that I hadn't thought of or hadn't planned to implement. I thought I had considered everything. I love how the author stresses we don't have to be strict and all so get what we expect. Ms. Fan does a great job in relating the book to every teacher no matter where they are in their journey.

An absolute gem

The strategies and info provided in this book are top-notch. I shared a little bit about this book with my aunt (a teacher). She was really interested in getting a copy because the information was interesting and helpful. Every teacher should listen to this. Even if you feel like you are a great teacher, there is always something new to learn!

Positive energy here!

I’m working on professional development hours over the summer and came across this audible. It was a breath of fresh air to help me simplify my teaching life and gear up for a new school year in a few months. It was easy to listen to and gave me a boost of positivity of things I am doing well and some ideas to try. Highly recommend this book! - Julie S.

A Must For All First Year Teachers

This audiobook is a must for any first year teacher. It is clear and concise with chock-full of tips and strategies to effectively manage classrooms for optimal learning. I wish I had a guide like this my first year of teaching! I’ve read and listened to so many self-help books on teaching and managing classrooms, but this audiobook was much easier to listen to with practical recommendations. The author tells you exactly what you need to do to be a magical teacher, even if you are a seasoned teacher; there’s so much you can learn from her writings. Highly recommended!

Straight Line Guidance!!

Children, attitudes, personality changes, and education all wrapped up into a full day of work is a stress only a few can handle. Freya gives a great game plan of strategies to be able to manage it all in a stress-free way. More specifically for those classrooms that have bad behaviour problems and those that have classrooms that are not fully engaged! As a facilitator of training and education, I will be using all of these strategies to aid teachers to become that teacher every kid wants to have when they go to see their name the week before school!

The missing link between teacher and student

Growing up I remember having my best classes where the classroom was in order and i was able to engage with the teacher, and the and my worst where the teacher struggled to control the classroom. This had a great impact on my learning. This book provides some great ideas on how to build better relationships with pupils and maintain order. I wish this was practiced by teachers when I was at school. I’m not a teacher but thoroughly enjoyed this and sure this information will be useful in the future. Highly recommended for any proactive teacher.
