Easy way to learn More

A really entertaining book, with lots of part of the very challenging relationship, including several stories from those who observed the effects. Prior to this book, I'd understand another on Churchill that wasn't very exciting. And after "Franklin and Winston", I'm listening"Churchill and Roosevelt:A Captivating Guide to the Life of Franklin and Winston , which, though full of data, isn't almost as well written or fun to know.

Makes a fine sensation in my WWII

Essential fundamental records for researchers working on Anglo-American relations during the Second World War. Arrived in great shape. Makes a fine sensation in my WWII.

I enjoyed this

This was an absorbing acct of Churchill /Roosevelt group contact and also the development of both British and American secret knowledge. much of book centered on matters waving around somewhat behind the displays at war time. so it's not just a book about ww2. I enjoyed this.

Now I understand them so much better

Beyond hearing about the relationship between these two world leaders, I came away with the perception that I completely understand these two epic individuals. Now I understand them so much better as human beings.

Well worth the time

A very clever way to a serious time in our history. The writer has a light touch and has produced a work that is both pleasant and approachable (as well as nicely documented). The only sad thing is realizing how far our country's leadership has fallen.Well worth the time.

The wonderful result of their friendship

This book is a classic tale of how the fate of the world can connect on a personal friendship. The story is genuinely moving, currently important, and deeply interesting. Full of the pure wisdom and wit of Churchill Roosevelt, and the wonderful result of their friendship, this book is not to be missed. This is, maybe, my favorite historical book ever.

Unique presentation

The different presentation allows you to see the times with a different view. I have learned a great deal about these two men and a quite aware of this three week period. The end effect is an interesting, pleasant history. I think like I now know these two great men. I really enjoy good history books and this one has been one of the best!

A pleasure

It was a pleasure to know about these two giants among men. You can't support but be excited and moved. A Nice character study of both men and an exceptional window on events. I'm not sure if anyone before or since has had equal or better command of the English language than Churchill. Quotes from his speeches send chills up one's spine.

Excellent and enjoyable

Two great leaders on different sides of the political spectrum came together and agreed on the progress of the entire world. The book should be known by everyone in a leadership role. I think to purchase this book as Christmas gifts for each of our children to teach and share.

Well done

I've read many books on Churchill, a few on Roosevelt, and have always been fascinated by the Churchill long stay at the White House. The writer does a wonderful job of making the collection feel like we're in the White House with Churchill and Roosevelt. The time, for me, of a good book is a mix of joy and sorrow upon end – joy from the journey with the characters, sadness from missing being with them as I learned. This book was not just good, it was great. Well done!
