Publisher's summary

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Christopher Robin, who had many friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. As time passed, the boy grew up, and he lost track of his friends. Then one day, a silly old bear with a love for honey decided to leave the wood and go looking for his friend Christopher Robin.

From the streets of London to the grassy banks of the Hundred Acre Wood, Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin will journey to find each other and remember the magical elements of friendship and play. The charm of this storybook and its companion, The House at Pooh Corner, is in the simplicity of a young boy and his lovable companions, whose whimsical escapades have stood the test of time. Nearly a century later, a bear named Pooh and his friends continue to delight. Here are some classic quotes from our Pooh Bear library.

Not long, but cute.

The narration was good. It just had that Winnie the pooh feel to the story.

A wonderful telling of a beautiful story

Winnie the Pooh and his friends will forever be some of nearest and dearest characters to my heart. This was such a special film, and this audiobook really lets the story breathe and expand in some lovely ways. It’s just a magical listen, all the way through. Time to watch the movie again!!

Christopher Robin is All Grown Up

I really enjoyed this book, the story was very cute and I enjoyed the narration by Steven Crossley. Christopher Robin is all grown up and has become a little bitter, forgetting about his wonderful childhood. In a way, he has become his father but with Pooh reentering his life, he realizing his mistake. He realizes that he is doing the same thing to his young daughter by not allowing her to be a child. All of the Pooh characters are reintroduced and they are so happy that Christopher Robin has returned to the 100 acre wood. My main reason for reading this was because the movie was just released into the theater and I wanted to read the book before watching the movie. After seeing the movie, it was quite similar to the book, of course some things were more elaborated in the book. This is a great child's book and even adults alike. It helps remind each adult that there is still a child that lives inside of us, we just need something to bring it back out. For me, it's Disney!
